Nayrt, but I don't think "but putumayo and marble are using it" is really that good of an argument. I don't dislike the brands as such, but a lot of their stuff looks pretty damn tacky and if you put it next to actual lolita brand the difference is often pretty jarring. I own some clothes from both of those brands, but I generally don't wear it with my lolita stuff for exactly that reason.

I've seen visible stitching even on brand, so that doesn't bother me, but the fabric is pulling in the seam, so that's bad. Poor sleeve construction is obvious, plus it looks like the solid lavender doesn't match anything on the other fabrics. It's pretty much that way in my city & most cities from what I've seen. Anime motifs, ita bags, etc, a lot of people come from cosplay and tumblr. I've heard a lot of people reference specific series on how they found out about it. Maybe not full blown otakus, but con goers who watch anime regularly. It's not really the "good" lolitas who are very obviously anime fans, but there's a good amount.

Now I'm not saying liking anime or going to cons means someone is automatically ugly, but anyone who's attended a con knows most of the people there are average or below average looking. Most lolitas were the weird kid, there's no shame in that.

Honestly feel like the skirt is too small, and the blouse accentuates it. Also, but awkward fit on the gathers of the skirt. I also think this blouse doesn't go that well with the skirt in terms of shapes. Colour is fine.

Otherwise nitpick on the purple shoes (I don't see enough purple to not make it look random. If she wanted to bring purple detail out she failed). Also nitpick on the wrist cuffs. They are bright instead of pastel. I don't mind small colour difference but in an otherwise pastel coord it bothers me a bit.

To me a case of enough nitpicks that I feel it looks messy/untidy and really brings it down instead of just not having it look perfect. I'm on the edge if I think it's ita or just multiple nitpicks.

AP's yoked skirts are already hard enough to coord on their own, must be a special kind of masochist who takes on the pain of coording this particular release that's both a yoked skirt and has suspender straps. With measurements that she almost doesn't quite fit into, going by the way the fabric wrinkles around her stomach. And trying to do lolita instead of fairy kei with it too, which would have given her a better silhoutte.

I don't really know whether to give her leeway for attempting to do everything the hard way, or laugh at her for choosing to do everything the hard way and not really hitting the mark.

It's worse when you do know a bit about sewing -- they mixed cotton with polyester so they'll never be able to iron it. Although going by how puffy the hem is from not properly pressing it, it looks like they don't own an iron anyway.

It's pretty easy to find couch prints that go together though -- a lot of companies now make quilting collections with different prints that match well together so your quilts can look good but still be different prints.

Well if there's a higher chance of coords not looking good when the garments don't fit properly. Fat girls tend to skimp on quality garments because they think that brand doesn't fit them (usually incorrect), so they settle for garbage quality replicas and other Chinese/handmade shit. If they don't do their research on where to find high quality clothes that fit them, chances are they don't take the time to learn what actually looks good on them in general, so you end up with many fat itas.
Not to say that all fat girls are itas, but it's a fairly common sight to see.

I think the idea is cool, but the execution is poor (the nature theme). also the bag doesn't matchat all, so perhaps leaving it out of the photo would have been best. Fit is a relative term. Even if brands upside the dress to "fit" a fatty, they don't usually add to the torso length, making the dress look high waisted and shorter than it should be on her, mainly because boobs. So fatties will still look ita in brand.

Most brand also doesn't tend to go past 2L or 3L, which is basically a US XL.

You have 3 options:
-Buy your upsized brand that "fits" and have it altered to actually fit

Who eats every two hours? That is never good unless you have medical issues. There is still a big gap between fasting and eating 3 normal meals a day, with as max extra one little treat in midday and evening (and then not a full bag of chips, but 1 cookie or so) which is considered the normal healthy amount.

I have hormonal migraines and I've been able to avoid premenstrual migraines for a couple of months already by eating at least four eggs a day. I think you might have misunderstood me, but the point is that it's not really discussable if a garment fits well or not. If it falls properly on your body it fits, if it closes doesn't look good it doesn't fit.

Original posts said fit is a relative term because dresses don't look good on people while it fits them. But that's the point. It doesn't fit them in those cases to beging with and people just use the word wrongly, acting like anything that can covers their body or that they can close the zipper of "fits". People with blood sugar issues that aren't diabetic should also be eating more protein, like a spoonful of peanut butter, beef jerky, beans, a handful of walnuts, that sort of thing, with good fats and hard protein.
