Don’t worry about single digit gain at a con, anon

Remember that you should only worry if it stays on and you keep adding to it.

If you were to step on a scale and people told you to hold a jug of water, of course the needle on the scale is going to move.

Just go back to your active lifestyle and you’ll be good

Also, fuck this Gundam. He was in a good spot on day 1, but on 2 and 3 this fucker didn’t want to move from the hallway leading to the entertainment hall and congested everything for hours.

So I checked out this just to see how bad it was, nothin else much to do Sunday. It consisted of 3 Fat white self hating sjw’s. The main chick had a shaved head and had a walking cane and if I’m not mistaken had gout, another one of the speakers was a fucking bearded lady, serious shit.

Honestly I'm not actually too upset with it because I mainly wanted to buy the box to take a shit in it and hand it to a friend of mine when I go on a roadtrip later this year
But for the amount of money it's pretty bad, particularly the stickers, those should cost maybe 1-2 dollars each if you're overcharging, the bag should cost maybe 7 from things like art bovine (for better quality no less) and the prints are maybe 5 dollars each at most, button maybe a dollar, that sums up to $22 at most while retailing it, the only thing I don't have a solid on is the acrylic (maybe enamel I don't fucking know) standee, so that must be made of some good quality shit to make that jump logically

That said someone in a thread a long time ago made a statement that I agree with to this day and that's that yeah while you could get the stuff for sale there for much less (and for big purchases you ought to buy from the cheapest) what you're paying for is the memory of buying that at some particular con with all that went with that

Not at all, I go to cons to meet up with friends and random fans for whatever series I enjoy. I’m pretty normie, so I have a lot of friends that work for different companies. I went to a lot of after parties and networked with a lot of people. You can’t do that during business hours, and if you think AX isn’t all about business during the convention posted con hours, you’ve got to be the biggest idiot in history.

I went to the "Diversity in Voice Acting" panel because I had nothing else to do and have an interest in voice acting. I went in expecting it to be about literal diversity like minorities, and was pleasantly surprised that it was just about having diverse voices and experiences and shit. But of course some people were a little upset it wasn't about minorities
>QA session comes up and a black guy gets picked for the answer
>He literally says "As we all know there is not a lot of black characters in anime for me to voice, and even then those black characters get played by white people. What can I do to get more black characters available for black people to voice?"
>The voice actors reply to him sounding sympathetic at first, telling him that he's right and there are very few black characters
>But tell him that the only way to get more would be for him to make his own studio/animation and produce them himself
>The guy voice actor (Torb from overwatch) then goes on to tell him that the beauty of voice acting is that you can play anyone, different races, creatures, objects, literally anything, and that if he's choosing to only want to voice black people he'd be severely limiting his ability to work on his own
>Goes on to say that he will never not be hired because he's black, but maybe they like someone else better for the job

I'd say the heat was maybe 25% to blame at most. Sadly these people just do not give a fuck if they smell bad, or are deluded into thinking "Well I can't smell myself, how bad can it be?"
Seriously, how hard is it to
>Take a shower in the morning
>Put on clean clothes, or at the very least buy a new shirt to wear at the exhibition hall if for some reason you don't have a clean one
>Put on deoderant
>Brush your teeth
>Bring mints because after eating a danger dog or literally any food your breath will smell later
Bad breath was a huge complaint of mine. I sat next to so many fuckers with god awful breath. Next time I'm bringing mints and giving them to the people sitting next to be if their breath smells awful

She even complimented my costume and asked if I was going to the BNHA meetup later. We made some jokes about the heat and then she said she hoped to see me later. Our conversation lasted like 2 minutes but she treated me like we had always been friends. It was one of the nicest experiences I've had at a con.
