By itself, shoehorning red into an outfit isn't ita, but those large red strawberries all over her legs under an all-white dress certainly looks weird, even if her tights are white irl. By itself, just having a flat petticoat is just a nitpick, but a flat petticoat combined with peeking bloomers makes her look like she's wearing her granny's jammies out. By itself, adding normie stuff to an outfit works perfectly fine, but when the shoehorning results in drawing attention to the normie items rather than highlighting the lolita items, the whole outfit looks tacky.

I tried to imagine this outfit being a perfectly matched white and red throughout and it still seems like a mess. idk, maybe it looks better irl but I highly doubt it.

Those issues I named are not issues fixed with camera angle. Literally the only thing one could reasoned to the angle is the rising up of the body, and that wouldn't suddenly make it not ita.

2CM of petticoat sticking out as much as the bottom row of lace does isn't even fixable by camera angle. This part is on the height of the photographer it seems, and it sticks out as much as the lace. No way that would be nicely 5cm shorter than the skirt on a normal angle.

The fact her knees, bust and face are pointing right and the body folds as if turned from left. As I said, she might have her hips tilted causing it, but it would be odd as her knees are pointing right.

Fraying sloppy bows from cheap fabric, loose treads, those gloves, and the too small lace trim folding the skirt back in isn't even up for discussion when it comes to angle.

Light from above being the only source of light really emphasizes the flaws in the fabric and the face. Hair is lacking in style and looks pretty limp and lifeless. Dress needs to be steamed out and needs a lot more detailing to not look like a sack on the body and give it movment. The bow looks very cheap and should be scrapped for another hair accessory. Wrist cuffs or some nice bracelets will help add more interest. The blouse isn’t working at all and should be replaced with something like a Peter Pan collar maybe with a bow at the neck. The black( or dark color?) shoes don’t fit in at all and should be left for Alice in wonderland costumes. There’s not enough poof to give the shape and makeup will greatly help. You have the old school rock tshirt and the converse, which people might think could work together, but I'm unable to associate those converse with anything other than early-2000's warped tour bands, which gives me the impression she's one of those girls who wears Guns n Roses shirts to look cool. Impression not helped by the emo style bracelet. It would have made way more sense if she was actually wearing a band shirt from that era.

The tacky hipster/coachella/lana del rey flower crown would actually work with the Guns n Roses shirt in that context, but then she needs to change the entire bottom half. Floaty see-through tulle skirt or denim shorts with cowboy boots or something. Basic bitch festival wear, you know.

The purse, I don't know. It's again, kind of tacky and hipster, so it might also work with the above outfit, but it's also too preppy for that kind of boho/rocker mashup imo.

The skirt she's currently wearing does not fit in with anything else she's wearing in any possible context. She'd have to change everything else to bring it closer to the lolita style, even punk lolita. Like if she brought in some punk-affiliated brands like boy london or vivienne westwood, it would work.

Looks like they're starting their transition, not completing it - beginning T, wearing a binder at most.
