I was watching something on this the other day
When people have skin that sags off them, it's still filled with fat. They just have lost so much weight, combined with where the weight was lost, that it looks terrible.
But when they reach that phase they're still like 30% bodyfat when they should be at 15.
Eventually, if they keep burning the fat, the skin will shrink back to much closer to the original.

It's just thst when it takes 2 years of rapid loss to get that far, but 4 more years to go the last 15%, it's hard for people to stay motivated.

Size 18 doesn't count as obese? I'm a US 6 on top and a 8 to 10 on the bottom snd regularly get about 7lbs away from the medically obese mark. Well done for losing all that weight. I either go full eating disorder and have to stay rail thin on top with fat thighs that don't go away eating practically nothing and purging or I do a lot of heavy lifting, walk at least 6 miles a day but according to even my mental state I still fluctuate as much as 15lbs either way in as little as a month. My bulky thighs were a big part of triggering my eating disorder. No matter how skinny the rest of me got my legs would only get so small. I can either opt to stop exercising and have smaller thighs just with more fat than muscle or I can continue being highly physically active and have stubby muscly thunder thighs that look so dumb from the side someone said my quads made it look like I had a second ass on the front of my legs. I thought I was an irredeemable piece of worthless shit at 230 because of the comments on cgl a few years back. I worked my ass off and sacrificed a lot to lose the weight, hating myself all the way.
When I finally got down to what most would consider just "chubby" I still hated me and I craved the outside validation. I refused to see my progress and only focused on my flaws, forgetting positives like that I was in the best shape of my life.

I had short bouts of confidence when I could fit into cosplay outfits. I wore a maid outfit to a convention and some asshole guy asked me if I were comfortable being in it 'despite my size?' It fucking crushed me.
It became clear I was the "fat girl" to some people no matter what I did. So I gave up for years.
I became so depressed and apathetic I blew my previous obesechan record and got up to 270 before I either decided I would change or kill myself.
Well, I'm not a ghost.
I'm slowly progressing and am now at 250 but I'm trying not to let someone else's words have so much power over me.

No one deserves to be on edge like that even if they are fat.

I used to be called fat as a 15 year old at 160 lbs, now I won't feel happy with myself till I get below that weight. I was 5'7 then, 5'9 now.

I got posted on here a few times by people I used to consider friends. They knew I was going through some rough times and they made matters worse on here and irl. I also erased all my social media. It's been a few years and I was over 275 due to work stress, anxiety, and depression. Because there's a lot of talk about weight loss here, do anons have tips for losing weight in a way that isn't 'lol don't eat'? Cycling and swimming are praised a lot for good reason, any specific diets or habits you suggest?

intermittent fasting (note: distinct from crash dieting or not eating, since you can eat as much as normal, just in a different pattern). as far as unpleasantness-to-effectiveness ratio it's the absolute winner of everything i tried. basically eat a late brunch and a big dinner, try to have no snack times in order to avoid excess insulin spikes, make sure there are at least 16 hours between the last time you eat one day and the first time you eat the next (so as a constant schedule it would be eating within an 8 hour window).

lots of people combine this with keto and praise the results but i'm too mentally lazy to do keto (this is a great eating plan for lazy people because the rules are so simple). doing it by itself will spike your metabolism enough to lose weight. you can also make the eating window narrower to achieve faster results (just always make sure you're eating enough, if your body begins to think it's starving rather than just in a period between eating-times then things will go wrong.)

Stance is all wrong, overtly stiff and does not have the skill to impromptu pose. The foot thats raise looks like its being hung by a rope around the ankle or something and the shoulder posture combined with the arm posture is just wrong, think making a U but more spread out, and finally suck in the tummy, its just a pose for a camera shot she can hold that for 5 seconds
