My foundation would always look cakey and gross like this, like it wasnt sticking to my skin properly?? I found adding the Infusion Drops from Cover FX really helped my application, it seems to be much smoother looking on my skin now!

As well, if youre heavy on the powder I think it can cake like this, maybe using less, or pressing it in rather than dusting it on could help, and finishing with a hydrating setting spray and pressing that in over top may remove excess powder or the powdery cakey finish.

Getting a setting spray like >>9868182 said is good. I really like urban decays all nighter. I didn't really think it would do much but it honestly works as advertised. After a day at the con, a evening party and a chaotic hotel situation my makeup held up really well. Only very slight smudging around my eyes from my mascara (which was not waterproof). And still matte everywhere except for some light sheen in my biggest trouble area for oil, which some blotting paper could have taken care of.

Primer is where its at for me. Smashbox photo finish is my fave. I'm prone to redness and it really helps even out my skin tone while smoothing my skin. I use Porefessional on areas where my pores need a little more help. But before I put any of that on I moisturize. Don't heavily exfoliate before hand, that can cause redness and breakouts and just irritate your skin in general if you are going to be putting all that makeup on right after. Use a mild chemical exfoliant the night before instead. If you have issues with dryness it may help to use a mask before application. And use a 'all-day' type moisturizer, like Clinique's all day moisture surge. My friend used that right after a round off accutane and loved it. Having irritated dry skin will do more damage to your appearance than sub par makeup will.

Use proper moisturizer that is targeted for your specific skin type as well as using a foundation that does the same. A pore filling primer will also help.

Honestly, varied. I feel like it works for her Amethyst, Raven, and Undyne because those are dramatic looking so more artsy makeup still works.

The issue with the Peridot is more like...the visor should be a 3d element.

More the issue I see is that the Uraraka thing is too much because she's a character who mostly looks normal-if she wanted to do exaggerated makeup, Uraraka does have blush stickers and very large eyes, but instead she chose to make her nose very pink. I also can get the idea of the starry sparkly element, but I feel like it just doesn't work for a character who has a normal face.

She's definitely skilled at the actual application it's just like...artistic choices I think she might need to dial back.

I might be biased because I follow her on insta but I don't consider her to be bad at applying makeup... She just doesn't know how to flatter her face. She has harsh features and her eyes are really intense, so the super dark, sharp eyeliner is just too much and ends up being unflattering.

Look up what brand is good for your skin type. Someone who is oily probably shouldn't use greese paint style paints.
The ones you use with water hold up pretty well.
Get a sealing powder and final seal spray. Also know how to contour with different shades to make things look better.

Majority of bad body paints are: cheap, un-sealed, and usually put on in a hurry cause they woke up from a night for parting.
