I actually think it would be pretty easy to coord because you can't go wrong with a combination of blue, white and red. White blouse, white socks, red or navy shoes (I suggest navy, they're easier to reuse because navy is such a popular color in lolita), and throw in some red accents with hair accessories, a necklace and a bracelet, and you're good to go. Buying a few accessories is not that bad, I think this dress is gorgeous and definitely worth it.

I have one dream dress. I saw it posted on here a few years back in an ugly brand thread, and I fell completely for it. There are other dresses I love, and this doesn't really fit in the rest of my wardrobe but... I can't stop thinking about this dress. I imagine myself wearing it, how I would coord it, what makeup I would wear... etc. And it's been this way for years, so I'm certain it's not a 'crush' dress. I really, really want this dress.

I search for it often. "和柄" and "metamorphose" on all the japanese 2nd hand sites. I love and would wear both colorways. Someone on LM recently unloaded a bunch of meta kimono dresses, but none of them was this one.

I know it's a long shot, but if anyone sees this dress on their internet travels, please let me know. I've helped others here find their DD, and I hope that the good karma will come back to help me get mine.

Hmmm I like brown more than the pink but it is low priority - if it was really cheap (relative to how much MRC tends to go for) I might go for it though. the one that baffles me the most is CTP, because Imai Kira is not only alive and well, she does a lot of stuff like going to events, tea parties, etc. she must have some idea of how people would lose their minds over a CTP re-release. It's not even about "giving back to your supporters", both she and AP would make a very nice profit. AP have already shown us that they are not opposed to re-releasing old-ass series. I've seen people say that, when asked about it, AP people say stuff about it being a collab with Imai Kira blablabla, but I'd really like to know what she herself could have against a CTP re-release.

Japanese people are really into that „limited exclusive once in a life-time event“ mentality, that’s why there are so many themed cafes for a limited time or „releases“ in general. desu the whole procedure for dagon chan re-release was a bit unnecessary. All of the artwork in the print is open source and can be found online and could have easily been recreated from scratch. Pretty sure Moitie used some references for Iron Gate, as well. It can't be that complicated to recreate some line art.

I'm the opposite, I really like the print, I think it's unusual and stands out from the endless sea of cat prints, but for what it is, as a status piece it's incredibly overpriced. Just my opinion of course, but I feel like Puppet Circus definitely looks like a status piece, Iron Gate is more simple but it can be dressed up into something grand. CTP, no matter what you do to it, still looks like a cute simple kitty JSK. If not for the OMG ITS CTP aura, I'd give it 200$ new without tags on Fril, tops.
