i did a dump of classic- and sweetish coords in the previous thread. to help begin this thread, i will dump some darker classic and gothic coords with 18th century-inspired elements.

I am actually really happy with Baroque their quality, especially of the lace! Most of their print dresses are polyester though and it also feels really polyesterish on your skin. (Personally like cotton/more cottony fabrics qua feeling.)
The dresses are also very Tall Lolita friendly.

Do any of you actually wear this oppulent style of lolita? I wear toned down classic in my daily life, but these threads always make me want to take my daily style a step further without being overly costumish. actually, the line blurs with some of these Japanese sewists. i have examples from one who specifies they do not make costumes, but their customers tag the stuff they get/commission as cosplay, but they also sometimes call them coords instead.

Mind that the only advice I can give is based on historic fashion of the 18th century, and my own taste in goth/punk aesthetic, and I'll be happy to help. As a big guy™ myself, I understand the struggle.

The first question is what kind of look are you aiming for? Any "theme" or pallet you wish to work with? Goth, aristocrat, militant, punk, macaroni etc.

The second is, are you willing to post a pic of yourself? It's easier to suggest styles if I know what shape I'm working with.

Finally, are you sewing or buying?
