Also everyone from this series because its only in Japan and its not even an anime. People have to pay to get the characters to be developed.

Ive already cosplayed one of them.. someone screamed when they saw me so at least the extremely cultured anime collecting, japanese observing weeaboos know about the series (its mostly drama cds)

I have a friend that keeps wanting to do an Inukami group cosplay. I just don't think the series was popular enough to make it worthwhile for a group that isn't into the show.

Michiru Kita from Zombie Loan. I just really liked the series.

I could paint my face white and do super weird stuff with the bear costume, but no-one would get it.
Then again my cosplays never get recognized anyway. I guess I only like obscure stuff.

Patapon is good, but it's undercosplayed. Maybe the remaster will bring new groups going PATA PATA PATA PON

FF Tactics and early/side games deserve all the love, definitely go for it. I once went as a white mage viera (bad first cosplay) and a girl asked for a picture. It was one of her favorite games and made her day with the big bunny ears

Pernod from King of Bandit Jing. Tried out cosplaying him at a local con, one guy thought I was cosplaying Marilyn Manson. No one recognized the character, obviously, the manga is pretty damn obscure, but it was still fun.

The 'not getting recognised' is probably more: you look too off-putting so the people who enjoyed the anime don't want to speak to you about it or interact with you at all. I mean if this is anything to go by:

I'm going to be cosplaying Witch and my bf's going to be cosplaying Schezo. They're from a niche series here and we're doing Madou Monogatari designs rather than Puyo designs so I doubt we'll be recognized. I'll be super happy if we are.
I've cosplayed from other obscure things before, such as Tales of the Tempest, and not been recognized so I'm pretty used to it.

That said, I like a lot of vocaloid PVs. I don't think vocaloid is as big as it used to be. I'm interested in Yuzuki Yukari's alternative outfits and some other lesser known outfits from Project Diva.

I don't think it's that obscure, more unrecognisable. If you'd show up to a con like this you'd Just look like a normal dude with a 90s haircut.

I'm working on Momodora cosplays with my friend for a casual comfy outfit. I don't think anyone would recognize a Kaho cosplayer, let alone Momo and Dora from the earlier games.

Not sure why I want to cosplay a character from a niche mid-2000s flash video thing, but the desire is there and it's strong.

Oh my god, I loved King of Bandit Jing (the manga) in middle school. I could only get my hands on like two volumes until I got my friend hooked on it, and the only anime I had was the first episode on an old demopack with a few other anime (KO Beast and something else, I think).
