Probably a nitpick and I’m most likely going to be blasted for posting her, but I have been following this girl on Instagram for a while and she seem to always have something off about her coordinates. It’s like she just goes to far trying to make it work or something. In this case I think it’s just the headless and lack of bulk in her hair to balance it out. The tights are also very busy with the print and her makeup is lacking or poorly done in her photos.

Blast me if you want for posting a nitpick, but this girl just needs to learn about balance.

I agree nitpick and her coords always tend to have something off about them. I feel like a different blouse with i lower neckline would balance out the lack of hair. The shouls should also be a bit more dainty. The bulky looks of the shous and high neck blouse just look too severe on her if shes not going to wear a wig to balance it out.

Even beyond all the issues with Islam it's just a badly done coord. That shade of pink does not go well with that dress, and she could have at least tucked the bottom of the hijab in instead of having it draped out all over her chest which just looks sloppy. And another anon already brought up the issue with her tights and sleeves, she could have made far better choices for color while still maintaining the level of modesty required. It wouldn't even had required having non-lolita items outside of the hijab.

there are a lot of mistakes to be made on your way to becoming a good lolita. not everyone is stylish and aware right off the bat. they try to mimic what they see others wear but end up buying cheap things, wearing things that don't match, or putting a dress on without washing their hair and putting on a bit of makeup.
All Jfash is very put together and every style is a head-to-toe sort of deal.
it's a part of the pedagogy to have ita threads, and also a bit of nostalgia as there was a time few westerners had access to real lolita pieces.

Either they come in here and self post themselves to get true unbridled feedback on themselves since people under the guise of anon will tell you how to improve. Biggest noticeable issue to me is is the make-up. The white eyeliner on her lower lid was a really poor choice.
