Newbie Question! How long should I wait for a response from a buyer before I go ahead and relist the item? My item sold on Saturday night and I messaged the buyer on Sunday morning. 2k is definately too high. I watched that auction and the seller switched the price between 2k and 2.5k for months. Im suprised it finally even sold for that high. Atound the time before it was sold i watch 2 different grey colorways sell for 1.4k on yahoo japan. Fortunately i couldnt participate in either of those auctions because when i got paid a week later a third auction popped up and i bought it for 900. I feel the hype for this dress has fizzed out and everyone who was super crazy about it allready own it. If anything start an auction at 900 and see how it goes. Ehhh a lot of time it's a matter of "does it actually look good / fit in a flattering way" rather than literally fitting.

Being able to put on a dress, or even wearing it comfortably, doesn't mean it's going to look good. AP is too big in the chest for me, but only sometimes, so I tend to try to buy things that I really like anyway in hopes that my flat ass will be able to wear it without looking like a child stealing my mom's clothes.

Experience and what you're willing to compromise on. My measurements are within range for older/smaller brand but it doesn't mean that it'll actually look good on me like >>9671621 mentioned. Waist could be in the wrong place, bodice could ride up because of my shoulders, too big in the wrong places, etc. Plus newer releases require tailoring about 70% of the time, so I have to calculate that into the total cost of ownership.

The print is very crisp and while it's of a lighter fabric it's well put together for Taobao at least. Super high waisted but the print makes up for it imo. At least assuming the House of Hannover regular edition is the same quality as the black version.

The dress streches by hand to a max of 112cm. Im 114cm and I can wear it comfortably, however I had a friend who was also 114cm but carried the weight more towards her arms and back try it and she said it was quite tight, so better than the official measurements which are 90-something, but do beware of going past 112cm

If lolita was larger with a more mature community (basically no weeabs) this could work like prom dress rentals, but you could only do it through a company as there would be the chance that A) the dress gets damaged and the person’s credit card needs to be charged as such B) the dress is never returned, credit card needs to be charged C) the dress is returned in perfect condition and will need feedback from the company as a trustworthy renter or D) the customer falls in love with the dress and wishes to purchase it, easily done with card info already in the website.
