Since I got the little spirits from the set, I tried to do a ghost type trainer and made a knock off Shauntal.

I was going to make a Pokemon Ranger, but I don't think it would get much votes. I think I might make a furisode girl or hex maniac (if I can) instead.

No way, unless you've been saving up for months. You need like 8000 stamina to finish the two sets (I had 1000 saved and got ~500 ghost fire). In comparison, you only get your Stam+ ~178 daily as a free non V player. So 300-400 depending on how often you check. The event only lasts a week so at best you've got 3000 of the 8000 needed stam.

Momiji depends on how much everyone else is willing to whale but it's literally up to whoever wants spend the most through the gacha and buying stamina.

If LN from the start decided to use these practices I won’t be complaining, I play a lot of shitty mobile games and they all use the same cheap cash grab methods, I’m use to it really, LN was different having events that would set you back at the most 20$ and having plenty of f2p do-able Events, this is literally the first good fashion mobile game I’ve played since the downfall of LinePlay and CocoppaPlay, sure it’s just “one event” but that’s how it starts, that’s how it started in LP and CP, now that they set this practice into motion it’s not stopping, in a year or so these hundred dollar events will be extremely common, not mad but just sad that the game is going to become extremely p2w to the point where farmable suits will be useless like I’ve seen happen on LinePlay and CocoppaPlay

There's a possibility that only events imported from the Japanese servers will have ranking systems, which is common for Japanese mobige. None of the other servers have ranking events (I heard that the Chinese server even got them banned), so unless you really like the suits from the Japanese servers, I don't think LN will have to worry for the most part about ranking events. Or at least, I hope this is the case.

From what I get, it's a combination of your score and how it compares with the opponent.
Check what properties you need for that stage here https://lovenikki.world/ and build up from there.
Usually momo's S recommendation is enough though, if you don't immediately get it you can continue the story and return later when you get better clothes.

Your best bet is to check the guide for any given stage, see what the properties you need are, and then use the search function and just pile on the highest ranked items you have for each category.

Example, if a stage guide says simple, cute, warm, pure, elegant, in that order, I'll check through and find all the highest rank simple cute items i have and throw them on. If I'm missing a category, I'll search for simple pure, and so on. Having items on every category is usually the best way to rack up points as long as they fit with the level. I have a few near-top scores in some levels just by doing that. Ofc also make sure that any other requirements are met like style or specific items needed as well.

I got it! Thanks everyone! I was actually worried it would hurt my score to pile things on because I SWEAR the game has punished me for it before. Or maybe that was a newbie mistake since certain items won't fit the theme of the stage and the game isn't shy on telling you it's shit.

Anyways, on the topic of the new styling theme, I really have to say I prefer more "loose" styling themes like this that allow a ton more freedom. There's only so many certain items thay fit into "yokai" or "soul savior", but I know those were just because of the recent events.

If someone wants to spend money because the game is fun and they have the funds to spare, go for it. Paying for a day at a theme park is hardly an investment, you pay for temporary enjoyment and if you get said enjoyment it's totally worth it. Same applies to a game. Do you have the funds? Did you enjoy it? Did you have a fun experience Then it was worth it. Shitting on people who spend money they have on mobile games is as shitty as it is salty.

But if you don't want to spend money on a mobile game but spend money on it anyway, you might want to find some way to block the game from your account. I've read way too many people on Facebook going on about how they don't have the money for this event but spent it anyway.

I don't want to get into the argument but I suggest you STRONGLY consider this because it has happened before. I used to play TinierMe and they were accepting payments for game currency one day and literally the next posted that they were shutting the site down in a week and no refunds.

My account at that time was worth around $200 but thankfully 75% of that was currency I'd gotten through doing offers/surveys to earn it rather than pay for it.

So yeah, never expect your game will stick around forever.

Honestly I'd rather not disclose how much my account was likely worth, but I played for all 3 years and had a job with no financial responsibilities for 2 of them. I still don't regret spending money on it. It was fun while it lasted. Though not everyone will have that attitude towards it. I know I wasn't even close to the craziest spender on that game, I was mild/moderate, usually only spending the $5 for the rewards program but occasionally going ham on a gacha I really liked.

Romantic diary is a very different game, kind of garbage. Dating system is pointless, the art isn't very good for the clothes but there is a lot of variety, and an extreme amount of bugs. Lost over 2,000 diamonds from devs programming events and shops wrong so I would recieve "nil" items on multiple occasions.

Don't spend money on the game, but enjoy the 1v1 arena system. Don't expect to win without paying for the instant-win sets, though. Oh, and 90% of everyone does not speak english. The lovenikki team is a different Dev, and from playing Hello nikki (lovenikki's predecessor), Stick with the competent devs.
