It honestly doesn't come off as a bad coordinate to me. She's matching her velvet headbow with long sleeves and full tights so it doesn't look wonky, and the red is evenly split throughout her outfit with the headbow, bag, bracelet and shoes. Even her lipstick matches the right shade of red, and there's no horrible cool/warm shade clashing. Call me a newfag, but I really am trying to see how this coordinate is so horrible.

And redxnavyxwhite is a classic color combination.

It's been explained throughout the thread, read it. Red and navy go together, but you can't just put any shade of red with any shade of navy and call it a day. Darker and more muted shades of navy need a deeper tone of red, not something super bright and pinky. There's also nothing to tie the red into the coord. Her entire body is navy/white, and just shoving in red in the accessories isn't going to work. If you're going to shoehorn a color that isn't in the print at all, you have to add something to the torso and/or tights area so that it doesn't look so unbalanced.

The print is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of color theory most of the things you try to put with it will go over a typical seagulls head.
