I'm not sure how many people know of this easter egg. It took me a while to find out but I'm happy to finally have a different skin collor.

Has anyone noticed the love nikki costumes popping up on aliexpress lately? Some of them seem pretty alright, some are a laugh. I'm highly considering making Star Sea, it would be fun to use little lights in the dress!

Her name is Nikki which also sounds pretty Western. It's not the same connotation as calling her "diary-chan", just like Kanoko doesn't literally mean "deer kid".

That said I love the game and the lolita dresses, including the ridiculous orange one the sidekick girl wears. I'm currently obsessed with collecting almost all the faces which means I dropped cash on the cat one... I missed the red slippers event which had me really pissed though.

I'd totally cosplay Nikki or wear a dress but I'm sadly not exactly waifish like she is. Some of the full sets would be really recognizable though like Lunar's getup, default Nikki, momo, and the one that's the highest VIP tier unlock with the wings

A warning to newbies, the game gets really grindy in the second half of content (looking at YOU, Hibernation) and most event sets aren't completable without using some gems (so save up) .

Once you beat the story it's mostly just playing around with clothes, grinding for rarer outfits, doing events, and contest and competition. It's still really fun though! Nothing quite like the rush of getting the perfect dress

Yeah, I was being lazy with this theme. This latest event is too grindy for me. I like the last one better because I could see all the items and pick the ones I wanted. Im still on progress to the 2nd item (jade bracelet)

You technically don't "use" them in the styling arena. They're supposed to have that lock on them and trigger on their own. For being player vs player it's more like outfit vs outfit with randomised skill trigger.

Anyone here savvy with the App Store? Love Nikki isn't available in my country's app store, so I made an Apple ID in the US and downloaded it from there.
The problem is I can't buy anything because I don't have a US-based payment method. If I just switch my Apple ID's country/region, would it allow me to keep the app and purchase things from it, or just remove it entirely?

I really hate that some events have so many items and so little time that it's impossible to get the whole sets without spending money. I try to save my gems between events but this one feels like there's a huge amount needed between each item.

Not having cat ears for the current competition sucks. I wasn't gonna pay $20 for jingle kitty but after spending over 300,000 gold at the pavilion of mystery I still havent gotten lucky with the kitten headband drop.

Its either how their algorithm works, or maybe its good to apply when an event starts? I have no clue. Maybe its just random luck. I'll reapply the same outfit a few times next week to test if it changes rank drastically on a different day.

This has helped me noticed something, when I first started the game I would be in high ranks for competitions and was able to stay in the top 5% week after week no sweat, however now a few months later I'm more often in the 30% ranks even if i sell out and copy top 20, uncommonly I get lucky and rank top 5% even though I now have a broader waredrobe than before, the post above makes me think that LN gives proirity to newer players making it easier for them to climb ranks to balance out the player level gap, just a theory here

It starts getting grindy by chapter 3 honestly. Not awful, but to the point where it might take multiple days to get through it.

Also I'm a completionist and it kills me that the side quests you have to come back to.

I only started today after lurking in this thread and I'm just really weirded out by the stages. It seem that the best strategy is to slap anything with the right category, no matter if it matches at all. At first I tried to have somewhat cohensive outfits, but then I just went with clothes that go through themselves and got a much higher score. Is it always like that, or is it only visible on earlier levels, when you have less clothing?

Its apparently just a mistranslated term from Chinese romance novels. So they're all up in arms over Chinese not having an accurate translation of a popular term.

I'm not the happiest with this one because I feel like it's a carbon copy of the top 20, but this is the best I've done so far!
