Hi, I have a couple more questions again sorry.
As a kind anon suggested in the last thread, I'm using 加长过膝袜 to find thighhighs for taller girls, but I've run into something of an issue. Most of the search results for that seem to be for compression socks or some kind of leg warmer, but I'm wanting more of a generic, full sock; all black or all white and about 80 or 90cm tall like you would expect a 2D schoolgirl to wear. If you need socks for taller girls, don't get Taobao. I'm taller myself and I've tried multiple times to get the sock length I want and failed. It's better to go somewhere like Sock Dreams where you know you'll get what you want.

Also some of us may know shit all about Touhou so a reference photo would be nice. But here's what I can tell you off the bat:

1st Listing: It says it's secondhand but looks set up like a preorder. That's definitely odd but the reviews look good and buyers have posted pics so you know what you're getting.

2nd Listing: 4.7 item rating, shop is rated 4.7 for description (aka quality) and was downgraded to that rating which means reviews aren't good lately. Only one review and they say the skirt was too short.

3rd Listing: Has both male and female sizes so be careful what you order. Has a 4.8 rating in quality but that was a downgrade. Only one item review with no pictures.

I live in one of the countries that Taobao still won't ship direct to. I've used Spreenow in the past (and have the lower rate ss fees of 8%, really like their basket system and find them easy to deal with) but I noticed that other services have discounted shipping options.

It looks exactly as pictured and feels pretty decent coming off of taobao. It's not made of real denim material but more like the cheap $8.99 jean material that F21 has. I'm 5'6" so it was the same length on me as a mini bodycon skirt. I was also most impressed at the fact that the eyes, nose, mouth, whiskers, and even the lines on the ears were embroidered; I honestly expected it to be just screen printed on. The dress also has usable front and back pockets if you're somebody who goes crazy about dresses that have pockets.

I'm kind of temped to buy the white one too because the black came out so nice.

I don't have any pictures cause I wore it today. It's a very light shirt kind of like a $2 Hawaiian shirt and not see through. Each shirt has a different print to it so mine is slightly different from the pictured one, but it's only different in the way the cats are arranged.

It's made of standard windbreaker material, but not the softer version like what Nike and Adidas athletic jackets are sometimes made from. The print is very clear and not painted on so it won't risk fading away once you wash it once. A little short in the sleeves for me but I'm 5'6" and like a little overhang in my sleeves so I can bury my hands in them. Plus, it's only really noticeable if I'm stretching my arms out.

Depends on what shipping method you choose and who your SS is, some SS charge more or don't offer SAL.
1 pair of shoes dont weigh that much', probably somewhere between 700~800 gram to max 1,5 kilo (like boots).
I recently shipped a 3,880 gram SAL package for about 46 usd to Europe.
Considering how many items (see pic) were in the package I think I paid a very fair price for shipping.
I also (always) use TBring, never had any problems with them so I decided to stick with them.
If your item is under 2 kilo's you might be cheaper chosing airmail btw, my advice is to only get SAL if you are over 2 kg.

Got everything except my dress (which is made per order, custom size) in the mail today! Being able to try on all the accessories was a huge thrill, I can't wait to get my dress in a couple months!

1. Shoes: Got the biggest size. I wear a 8.5 in US American shoe sizes. Fits comfortably, heel is at a comfortable height. I'm not worried about wearing it for over 12 hours so I'm relieved!

2. Gloves: Fits nearly perfectly, but I do have to do a back and forth motion to get my hand through the wrist portion.

3. Veil: The veil is gorgeous and just as long as expected! My only complaint is that the triangular V-shaped lace that comes up the front under the flowers is not as long as the stock image.

4. Overlay skirt(?): I'm still not sure if I'll use this with my wedding dress or if it'll be too much, but it looks as pictures with an invisible zipper to the left hip, but also contains elastic in the waist band.

5. Necklace #1: Bought two in case I didn't like the look of one. Looks as picture, though the top set of pearls tends to hang a little awkward on the neck so I may look at adjusting that.

6. Tights #1: Very soft and stretchy! Being an average US height and also having large thighs due to lots of dancing throughout my childhood, I always worry about how tights will fit me. These however, look very nice and the image didn't stretch much. However, these tights are a more cream color than white, so I might not wear these for this outfit.

7. Wrist Cuffs: I purchased these to either wear when I eat food during the wedding, or to add an extra UMF to my gloves. It looks beautiful wearing it in addition to my gloves, so I might do both!

8. Necklace #2: Simplistic and pretty! No complaints with this one! This one rests higher on the neck than the other one, so depending on which I think looks better with the dress will decide on which one I choose to wear.

9. Tights #2: I was really surprised with these ones! Again, big thighs, yet despite that the tights fit very well, with even a few inches to spare, and the pattern shows up very nicely too! I can't wait to wear these! These are out of stock now, it seems...

10. Earrings: I got both pearl ones and diamond ones. I plan to wear pearl for the wedding, but wanted a pair of the other ones around too. They are a nice size and look beautiful! basically I wish I had just been cheaper all around. I loved my venue because a lot of services were included and they were excellent to work with. I regret paying $1200 for an extremely shitty photographer. I had 125 guests which factored in to the higher cost, a lot were old church people my parents wanted to attend that dined and dashed, they didn't need to attend. Could have had less expensive bridesmaids dresses, I believe they were $150 with alterations.

>Venue was $7K (included chairs, renting the building, dinner/food, linens, cake toppers, DJ, bridal suite, etc
>bought a pre owned Alfred Angelo dress was $550, retailing for $1400, looked amazing

tl;dr my advice would be that nothing has to be expensive, if you like it and it makes you happy and you think it's pretty, it does not matter whether it was $10 or $100. All that matters is whether you like it. It doesn't matter if your bridesmaid dresses come from Ross or David's Bridal. I got my cake from Walmart for $100, tasted better than any cake I've had at other friends weddings, was simple and beautiful.
