Dislikes: most animals that aren't realistic and natural looking or that are in a weird context, stuffed animals and toys, baby things, most food prints besides elegant chocolate or elegant pastry/dessert, random novelty things, retro x lolita, fandom x lolita, holiday specific prints.

Want more of: elegant Gothic prints, botanical and natural science prints, old master sketches, alchemy and witchcraft themes, book themes, doll themes like Marionette in my Closet Room.

I love alice in wonderland so much but I must admit I can't think of many examples of prints I like featuring it as a theme except for some btssb/aatp, mostly because I hate diamond prints, especially when the colorway is black/white/red it reminds me of tacky goth costumes too much.

I'm a sweet Lolita but anything, ANYTHING with piano keys and classical instruments makes my heart doki doki.

Beyond that i'd say Alice in wonderland, strawberries, mermaid/marine, space(specifically more space themed and not galaxy. I like milky planet but not dreamy planetarium ), sweets and desserts

I really like seeing more unique themes and hope we will see more. I thought it was interesting when BABY did that 1001 nights dress. I hope to see more fairytales done that aren't usually made. I think jewelry jelly is interesting for the fact that it's a food that isn't usually featured. I really want to see some wacky shit like a pastel safari print.

I don't care for the story or the movie so there isn't a positive association there, none of the motifs except for the mushrooms appeal to me, and I don't like rabbit prints or prints with people in them and most alice-themed prints hone in on the rabbit or Alice herself. Normally prints that don't fit my taste don't bug me and I just ignore them/don't buy them, but the fact that alice in wonderland is basically shoved down our throats is what fuels the outright dislike.

I wont disagree that there are plenty of alice themed dresses without alice herself or rabbits. But there are also quite a bit of other ones as well that dont have those things on them, some are pic related. And I know this is a print thread however there is also the classic look of looking like alice-inspired yourself. With a plain blue dress and maybe an apron.

I think the reason why brands do some many Alice themed dresses is because well... the fashion is a bit inspired by her. Remember when people wanted to change the name from lolita to alice-kei?

Yolanda's Berry River had raspberries on it as well as strawberries, most people don't realise because it's zoomed out too far to be visible in most stock pics.

I really like some of the illustrations but others look a little less refined, like the bows on the bottom look a bit sad and uneven. I also really dislike the knives and cleavers and wouldn't ever wear/buy it for that reason. It's a bit edgy for my tastes, pardon the pun.

Yeah. It's definitely one of my favorite pieces I own, but I rarely wear it outside of events. I also have the Violet Fane skirt >>9500826 though, and have even worn this one to work since it's less gory.

As a side note, if it's medical pieces people like, I collect them and have a few more! Probably my favorite piece is an ancient skirt from Metamorphose that has been lovingly dubbed "strawberry specimen" and has this fantastic print.
