Honestly being posted to the bad cosplay thread is so rarely a terrible thing; I think, barring some extreme exceptions, few people have ever gotten harassed over their picture being in one. Anons just chuckle and move on. Some even take the time to give genuine concrit about the costume. People here are just looking for a laugh and then they move on. This isn't the farm, the thread will die eventually.

Spray painted my face. Shit stuck to my shirt, ripping my flesh when taking it off. Still finding spray paint in my ears days after. Heat pressed chrome on overalls, literally cannot bend, sit, or put on my cosplay by myself. Gloves falling apart the day I wear them. Half an A press out of ten.

I have piercings and tattoo myself and it takes absolutely zero effort to take them out/cover them.

Like, if you were somewhat serious and wanted to look good, but NOT enter serious competitions.

Say, what if I wear to wear a leather vest, but it's cut up too high (hard to find an accurate, quality vest, but this one was made for women so the midriff is high, yet it looks really good outside of that)?

What if I don't wanna fucking pay 40 british pounds for RED chucks just to cosplay when I already have blue ones?

I'm not talking about jnig level of "artistic freedom" which lets her slut around of course or blatantly stupid shit like the wrong hair color/grossly different hair style or just the wrong clothes in general.

If you can keep things in proportion, I don't think the length of the vest is a total deal breaker. The vest in the picture goes down to the top of his pants, so try to keep the gap between those two things minimal.
Get the right color shoes though, that's such an easy thing not to fuck up. You can easily wear red chucks outside of this cosplay, so it's a sound investment. Or look for similar cheaper brands.

My vest ends at the solar plexus, it's designed for slutty petite women from the 80-90s as those delinquent red leather vests are not common in the UK (spent 3 hours in manchester looking for one, nothing on amazon uk either).

The whole midriff is exposed, which is just fine as it's extra motivation to keep my stomach flat and clear of lovehandles as it'll REALLY show when wearing those tight t-shirts he wears.

As for the shoes, I guess I could get a cheap knockoff, or get a similar looking one with an elevated platform for them height gains.
