Anyone had luck finding pill shaped beads/charms in pastel colors (or at least non-ugly colors) or black/white/clear that do NOT have faces, rhinestones, or anything like that on them?
Already tried Aliexpress (and searched very deep), can only find ones with faces, rhinestones, or in ugly colors

They still have the hole in the back to attach them to earring, but I found one seller from the United Kingdom who will let you select based upon color. You can pink/white, bright pink/white, or orange/white at checkout by leaving a message to the seller. They come in 50 piece sets. Now that I've found pastel pink, I'll try and find black/white/clear.

The last one I found, and then I think I've exhausted my resources. The site will not allow you to pick a single color, but the pills only come in white combined with either pastel pink, pastel purple, red, or black so they seem to cover the main colors of the fashion. Nothing weird like royal blue or neon green! I hope maybe some of this helps; sorry I couldn't find anything too specific. I think this site is a Hong Kong seller.

I felt terrible that I wasn't able to support the new designs because I thought they were all amazing. My issue was I won't be making any hauls until mid-February for financial stability. Baseboard heating in almost zero degree weather is a pain that must be accounted for. I am truly sad because the designs themselves were very unique.

I wonder if that was the issue for other people as well; that they couldn't invest between Christmas expenses, lucky pack purchases, and increased heating costs. Hopefully things will speed up once people start getting in tax returns and the weather starts warming up come March.

No, it's just that the "Haha creativity = drugs xd" meme needs to end. You don't have to do drugs to make weird/cool/creative content. People who say that sort of thing are just boring.

I think it's just something that people associate because of the music/art scene in general usually has some kind of drug involved. Even this fashion is reliant on drug usage being a motif.

Sure you're tired of it, but it's just a common association.

Oh dear. I mentioned this up in >>9317716. I did not mean to give the assumption 'drugs are bad; only normal people do them.' I just dislike the assumption because I sell art on the street. There's been many times such assumptions have attracted the wrong type of people such as the really out there junkies, or you have normal wealthy people assume you are some sort of junkie which also leads to an awkward conversation. Sage for off topic, but that influenced my statement .

Doesn't change the fact that the theme of the first release of the spring/summer line is punk which isn't unusual as Listen Flavor is a punk rock brand in the first place. I've not been posting much because I'm fighting a staph infection in my jaw. I saw the 'ask' on CC's blog, and thought of 2 different ways people might could make the hair accessories seen in the Slow Motion video after looking up the pictures. If anyone wants to put in the effort, this might could work.

1. They seem to be hair ties so the least realistic option would be to buy a giant pill resin mold, and use metal 'hoops' to attach the hair ties to the finished product. If you look at the hair ties featured on Rara-CirCo's VV storefront, there's an example of what I'm talking about by metal 'hoops'. This is the least realistic since they don't have the round shape to them.

2. The second realistic option would be more like putting together a costume. They sell these pill pens that are 2.5 inches. I wonder if the ink cartridge could be removed from the pen. If not, the cap could still be super glued on to make the accessory more sturdy either way. You could take that and affix the pill to a barrette clip with hot glue or something. I don't think the plastic would be strong enough to be drilled for the purpose of attaching a hair tie. It would likely crack if you did that. There's also aluminum pills sold by the container store that would not have the ink cartridge to deal with, but unless you lived near a Container Store, you cannot select the color online. I also worry how heavy aluminum would be for a hair accessory.

Almost all the shirts supplied by brands are "unisex". They are all men's t-shirts unless stated otherwise. Try using the fymenhera's archives to look for the links to specific shirts. I tend to have to use mobile to find the links because they don't show up when I use my browser. Double-check the measurements before you buy because occasionally you get a true "unisex" shirt or female shirt which will be too small in your normal size.

'Creepy cute' would not exist were it not for Japanese fashion. Kreepsville666 is actually 'psychobilly' fashion which emphasizes 50's flair and rockabilly air. The emphasis of Kreepsville666 has always been a sexy pin-up model sort of flair.

'Creepy Cute' was a bunch of goth and punk girls who borrowed the silhouettes present in various Japanese fashion styles to create a cute style with their own American and European brands. Beforehand, all goth and punk fashion focused highly on sex appeal or a dangerous look in the West with a few exceptions. The exceptions generally being those inspired by the cuteness they saw present in Japanese fashion.

It was never popular in Western styles of gothic and punk fashion until Japanese styles gained popularity. I could've found you a 'petticoat', but it would have been a long petticoat meant for Victorian style clothing or so short it could barely pass as a 'skirt'. As far as silhouette, the fashion over here for the longest time focused on skin tight outfits. You had lots of fishnet, vinyl, miniskirts, and the ilk. There were some shorter petticoats often worn in the cyber styles, but cyber goth is a fashion with a lot of sex appeal. The men often wore baggy clothing, but it was not the norm for females.

So, what exactly is 'gurokawa' then? Because those don't come off as 'cute' to me. I don't believe I understand what it is now, but it may be because I look at a lot of American sites. That's a bit confusing because Kreepsville666 is 'psychobilly' where I live, not 'cute'. It's not very cute at all. And as far as that one picture, a lot of our punk and goth girls dress like that. Ripped leggings, tight tops, dyed super exaggerated hair.

I always love seeing this girl's outfits.

>> No.9338452

>>9338354
Hers are very hit or miss for me. I honestly think she doesn't really get menhera and should stick to old school lolita

>> No.9338454

>>9338354
I also love her coords! But I really hate how she does her lips, they never match the style she's doing!

>> No.9338471

>>9338354
This girl annoys me simply cos she seems to change style every other month. First she was lolita, then dolly kei, cult party kei, tried to make her own style called "borden kei" and now menhera. I like her lolita stuff but honestly not much else.

>> No.9338537

She switches things up for certain. I don't see anything wrong with that. There's no reason anyone should feel confined to one style. That's nonsense.

I'd post other people's outfits, but there's not a whole lot of people who post themselves wearing things. I'll share this other person's picture I saved because look at that room. It is fashion and room inspiration in one picture

That's what normal people do, anon. As times change, your style changes too. Surprise, you don't have to change your entire lifestyle over clothing of all things.

why does it bother you, serious question.
I'm jealous that she can pull off so many different styles honestly. Her music leaves a lot to be desired but her style is generally great.

You are the one who doesn't because her outfits just look like the average one worn in jp, only difference that she is obviously taller so the skirts show more.

It's the last chance to get those in color, the re-release of AnkoRock's Menhera Girls line the spring/summer line is in sketch-version.

What sort of stuff do you want to see embedded in resin pills? I was thinking: crosses, hexagrams, hearts, stars, and little dots

>> No.9338904

I think little animal faces would be cute, I have seen some pill container with bunny heads as a necklace at some jp brand Tumblr ages ago.

I like the idea of crosses, hexagrams, and stars. I think what you've listed along with animal faces covers everything.

Oh hell yeah. There may be a new sweatshirt from CC. Always looking to add new sweatshirts to my wardrobe because I'm a reptile and I freeze to death.

In other news, I'm looking for more red and black stuff. I got socks picked out, but I'm looking for shirts to pick from. So far I've got Rara-CirCo's cardiac arrest shirt, the cellphone murder sweatshirt, and... that's about all. If anyone has any black/red/white shirts they want to recommend, please do so. I'm shopping in 10 days. There's >>9327454 but I'm not feeling it. Looking for stuff I can add to a Japanese SS order specifically if it's not an American seller.

I think China is more into that colorway, at least I find way more on Taobao than JP shops. Funky Fruit, Sexpot and Deorart do it once a while tho.

I don't know why bandages are being argued about on fymenhera.

>> No.9339879

>>9338471
Unpopular opinion but I totally get this. Sure normally your style changes over the years, but with some people it feels like they don't have their own, personal style at all. Like they just saw a picture of someone else online that they liked, and completely copy their style until the next new thing comes along. I don't wear lolita tough so I'm not familiar with that girl's style.
