There is! Asian Beauty on Reddit has a ton of info, from the location of the store to how shipping is calculated, on non-eBay stores too. I highly recommend checking it out.
I don't think /cgl/ has bothered to make one, though.

Does anyone know where I can find pic related, that's responsibly priced?

I've searched eBay (and Aliexpress) using the search terms "pearl chain craft" and "rosary chain". The former doesn't bring up what I'm looking for. Whilst the latter displays a bunch of gold plated, precious magic Jesus stones, or w/e. Which isn't what I'm looking for as they're ridiculously priced. I just want something cheap to shove on some accessories I'm making.

Speaking of this. I ordered something from a seller early November, and the shipping said it'd arrive latest first week January. The tracking never worked from day 1, so I emailed the seller. They said the package was lost in transit, and they offered a refund or another attempt at sending the item.

So, they said they'd contact me with a new tracking # once it ships. But just in case shit goes south, do you guys think I'd be still able to open an eBay dispute even past the date? I kept all the emails and such, I'm just worried they said they'd send me another one just so they can prevent me from reporting them..

How to know for sure if a wig will be the quality etc. they describe it as? First time buying a wig on ebay. The seller says it ships from the UK and is kanekalon, and has 99,2% positive feedback.

Stolen pictures are really common amongst wig sellers so you can't really tell from those, but a good rating and a pretty typical prize for that length and style are a good signs.

You can try googling something like "[shop name] wig review" to see if you can find someone who's bought one before too, people have shit opinions a lot of the time but it might give you an idea of the wig's quality and such.

If you bid on something, that means you want it and are willing to pay for it. If you change your mind then it's your responsibility to contact the seller and let them know; don't ignore messages and risk tarnishing your eBay reputation.

I think ebay's standard policy is to wait 48 hours before taking action. Because it's such an expensive sale, I'd send an invoice to the buyer and tell them to contact you if they need additional time to pay. If a few days go by and no response, open a case.

Speaking as a 'Murican living in a state that's always behind, it's just not ~trendy~ yet. I knew a lot of people in undergrad that were obsessed with Star Wars and Marvel/DC comics. Those people instantly made friends and had all the coolest~ gear because what they like is liked by everyone else. It's the same as the insured plan currently, so it's just the best plan to get.

You'll pay a 5% fee and then the plan fee. Once they have the item they bill you again for domestic and international shipping. If you have the dosh for it then it's more money-savvy to purchase a few things at once for the combined shipping.

I would definitely take pictures of the item before, during, and after you package it along with maybe taking a picture of the package at the mailbox. Better yet, record the process so there's no discrepancy as to anything happening after the pictures have been taken.

Sigh. Of course the guy with 0 feedback score wins the auction. And of course he decides not to pay because he decided to go out and buy a similar item in the middle of the auction. I fucking hate this community.

>tfw sell some snail face masks (new in package)
>include some Korean beauty samples in package
>buyer mentions how happy they were to receive the free samples
>receive 5 star feedback

>different buyer
>purchase some nail polish
>never shipped nail polish before and confused about shipping restrictions
>package everything as protective as possible with standard shipping and hope for the best
>buyer notes how quick their package shipped and they would do business with me again
>another 5 star feedback

I love personalized 5 star feedback. I still haven't received any feedback for a few other sales but I figure if there was something wrong with the order they would've contacted me by now.

I've had 3 items not paid for and surprisingly they've all been from different levels of experience.

>buyer #1 with feedback >100
>purchase item for $4
>1 full week goes by without payment
>open unpaid case
>another week goes by
>no response from seller
>close case and receive insertion fee back

>buyer #2 with 0 feedback
>purchase item for $6
>set up ebay to open unpaid case automatically after 3 days
>1 week after auction ended
>buyer pays for item
I'm guessing this buyer is actually a younger person since everything on their shipping address was lowercase and maybe they're only allowed on the computer on Sundays (when the auction closed and the following when they paid)? They didn't message me about though anything so idk.

>buyer #3 with >1000 feedback
>purchase lot of items for $10
>auction ended Sunday
>no payment or communication from buyer yet
>unpaid case will open soon

That's true but it also doesn't stop fools from paying almost $40 for cheap prize figures like >>9321040. Using figure selling shops like amiami and surugaya is way more reliable than scrounging Ebay.

Completely agree concerning new and pre-order figures but what about figures that are not being sold anymore? People will want to sell their figures and others will want to buy them, so what's wrong about using eBay for that purpose?

Has anyone used something like pic related or aware of a more proper name for it?

I'm trying to find before/afters or reviews with pictures/anecdoctal opinions

They're like $3 max on ebay so I'm sure it won't kill me to try. I've always wanted a more upturned nose to the point of planning surgery, so this'd be a nice way to test if i really liked the look before taking the plunge...

I haven't tried them, but I've heard these are extremely unpleasant to wear to the point of being painful. You also can see the bottom of them slightly in your nostril.

I saw a decent review on YouTube once, I'll try to find one for you

Hi there! I need some cute lolita wigs (long, short, medium, don't really care. If they mix colours like brown and honey, light blue and navy, pink and blue, pink and brown, etc, it's better)... but I don't know which ebay seller is the best for that or who has the same wigs they show on pictures (or similar). Please help me! Thanks in advance!

It's soft, but I'm getting the feeling that after a couple more washes, it's the kind of fabric that will pill. If you got an electric pill remover though it shouldn't be a problem. For a gimmicky T-shirt I know I won't laugh at anymore in 5 years though, I think it's a good deal.

yes i know you find them on ebay but what criteria do i search them under? is there some sort of euphemism that people use to buy them in bulk or do i just look for cheap nendos?

They're not going to be labeled as bootleg. I'm pretty sure sellers go out of their way to make things seem authentic, but a $3 Nendo shipped from China is definitely not authentic.

So, example time. I'm typing in sailor moon figure on the search. Now, we're going to narrow the results down to under $10, free shipping, buy it now.

This is probably a stupid question, but does anyone have links to RHS with the back cutout of the wedge? I've found plenty with a solid platform, but I'm looking for something similar to the forever out of stock Bodyline ones. Or if anyone has any better search terms I can try? I've done "rocking horse shoes" "lolita wedge shoes" "lolita platform shoes" and a bunch of others along those lines. I checked the archives and people have been saying you can find the Montreal ones on ebay, but I didn't have luck with the "Montreal lolita" search that was suggested

In Japanese these are called 鼻プチ (hanapuchi) and apparently go by the name nose secreter in English?

It's in Japanese but here is a blog with lots of pictures where some women (and men for good measure) tried various sizes https://togech.jp/2015/03/17/20654
All of these testers agreed that while certain sizes look nice, actually going out with having those in would be difficult.
