I've got nothing against going a bit costume-y for halloween, but even then people try to find nice and high-quality witch hats, for example. On christmas, though, people just seems to pile up actual christmas ornaments and cheap plastic stuff on their head with otherwise normal coordinates. Probably because 1) people aren't willing to invest as much into a seasonal coord, and 2) do look as Christmas-y as possible, using actual decorations is the fastest way and those decorations are often cheap and low quality. Something about the high-waisted skirt just doesn't suit her body type. Also, her head looks way too big for the rest of her body.
