Every lie is based in some truth, the only thing that sounds believable is a personality disorder like anxiety. Everything else about being half, being in Japan, having a Japanese husband, having constant access to brand, not having to work is just the fantasy of someone who is very sad that the most exciting place they ever visited was a barn dance five farms down.

She can't get brand because she's too poor, she's not pretty enough to run a successful blog where people will contact her so she has no way to insert herself into any community.

So she builds up this elaborate persona and backstory to make herself the centre of attention. Other lonely chicks also want to live vicariously and this story gives them a way to do it: She's in the country they want to be with the life they want, but she has an anxiety disorder which makes her just relatable enough to obese nerdy chicks who never spoke in High School.

This is all some basic, basic shit, how do you guys not get this? She's just like the rest of you but she made her sad fantasies public, and because you guys so desperately want it to be true, you follow her story because it feeds your own fantasies.

Except this is a remarkably bad story and it is so blatant. I don't get how you can have such little self awareness of yourselves.

The janitor was concerned that people were upset about the removal of this thread (http://rbt.asia/cgl/thread/S7400156)) and asked me to give an explanation as to the reason why it was deleted.

The problem was that the videos being posted had strayed far beyond the topic of cosplay and lolita, and were simply videos of random weirdos.

If you want to post strange, embarrassing videos directly related to cosplay and lolita that's fine (and the thread had originally started on that premise). But if you just want to post unrelated "cringe inducing" or "autism" videos, then /cgl/ isn't the place for it.
