Dolly Kei is a japanese fashion inspired by vintage and antique dolls, vintage and antique clothing, Grimm's fairytales, gypsies, romance, goth, and very old clothing styles from eastern Europe.

Please show me where, 'like native Americans,' a group of Homo Sapiens left Africa, went eastward, mixed with Homo Denisovans, stopped halfway through Mongolia, decided they'd had a change of heart, wandered back through Asia, up Europe, and finally settled in Norway. Oh, while leaving no descendants behind along the way.

Thooough it's important to note that whiteness has no real definition/parameters except as a way to separate those who are "white" from those who are "other." Even people from the same area/same skin color/same distant ancestors can still be seen as a different race. Race uses pseudo-science to justify itself ("look black and white skulls are different sizes!!"), but is by no means a scientific classification. Sami people are considered a separate ethnicity from "white Europeans(tm)" for sure. Who is "white" varies everywhere.

Ethnicity =\= Race

Sami people are absolutely of the same race as other Nordics. What you're arguing is something like Saxon versus Norman, or Teuton versus Slav. What I was responding to was the idea that Sami people are comparable to Native Americans.

They are still white, and still Nordic. Everything else is an ever changing social construct.

>> No.9228285

>Same goes for the Irish. Now even Middle Easterners are considered "white".

They always have been, even as far back as the vastly outdated Caucasoid/Negroid/Mongoloid classification.

The only ones to try and argue otherwise have been in social terms as a means of trying to justify bigotry.

You guys are using the same rhetoric as people trying to justify discrimination. Again, I cannot stress this enough: Ethnicity is not, I repeat, ethnicity is not the same as race.

A Sami is to a Swede what a Norman is to an Anglo Saxon. They're the same thing but separated only by culture.

A Sami is not to a Native American what a Native American is to someone of, say, Han Chinese descent. They share a very distant ancestry, but closer than the ancestry between someone from Ethiopia and someone from Mexico. Racial classifications are, indeed, vastly cosmetic, but just because they've been used to justify horrible crimes against humanity doesn't make it pseudo science.

Saying one race has certain skeletal features based on observed fact isn't pseudo science, holy crap how do you even begin.
