I think cleaning skin a little, erasing loose hairs from the wigs, deleting shit on the background that ruins the immersion, fixing lights and colors is ok.
Some people can't wear contact lenses for medical reasons, so if they change their eyecolor that way is fine to me.

Basically the good way to fo photoshop is don't overdo it to the point you don't look like yourself (or like an human) anymore and don't lie about doing it.

If yes, take a step back and try again.

I do not include unrealistic expectations in this. No one will have pore-less skin or constant anime wind in their hair. A long wig WILL tangle.

Another good rule of thumb is 1) could you achieve this without photoshop (removing stray threads, shopping out a bit of wigcap that's showing vs. creating an entire wig in photoshop) OR 2) could no one realistically achieve this without photoshop (flying, magic, decapitation, etc.)?

Another thing to remember is that the camera is not a truth-teller. Flaws that go unnoticed IRL can show up on camera, and some costumes just look better in motion.

my general rule of thumb when shooping my photos is to make it look like my "best irl self" if that makes sense? Basically, photos take a 3D image and flatten it so you're bound to have distortions. When I shoop, I try and make it look as if it was a really nice picture of me taken at the right angles, even if they weren't. it's when you start to change the foundation of your features that it becomes overkill. I hope this makes sense..

I'm just starting a small fashion label and am wondering if anyone thinks they would be interested in image editing for my photoshoots, here are some deets.

-Small start up fashion brand with potential for ongoing work.
-Editing work will be light, as the brands look/ appearance for models is natural.

You really need to integrate ambient and flash.
Also understand different subjects need varying hardness's of light. Feminine subjects typically take better to softer light, while masculine subjects take hard light better.

Easiest way to help with the photo is a rim light.

Heres a shot from 1 in the morning as a example, 3 point lighting.
