If this actually happens I'm going to be so pissed. One of my friends can't go even though she already got a ticket so we were planning on letting my nephew have it (He's over 18 so can't just say I'm his guardian). And another friend forgot to do that verification so a friend who couldn't go gave me her verification email and shit so I could get it for the friend that didn't. That's a fucking waste of money and I won't be coming back if they're turning people away at the door for not having matching IDs when they already have the fucking pass in hand. Does every single guest charge for autographs? I wanted to get some stuff signed by some creators and artists (Joaquim Dos Santos, Gerard Way, etc) but I can't tell if they would be charging for autographs or not, since they aren't listed in the autograph pricing section of the site. I'm really hoping there will be at least some free ones, it's a real bummer how expensive everybody is.

But for every con goer that decides not to go next year, there will still be 100 people eager to fill the spot because as I said before NY Comic Con is the hip place to be for cosplayers, geeks, and normies just hoping to see their celebs. Sucks for you guys, I'm happy they're checking IDs. They kept warning people that badges would be fan verified. There was always a chance of ID checking at the door, because otherwise what was to prevent someone from renting out their badge on a day they weren't going or going in with a group of friends and having one person come back out with the extra badges to sneak in more friends? They didn't even have to do that. They bought up the ticket types, then when they put up the listing they needed your Fan Verification email to enter in the account. I always found that fucking stupid, if you had to enter fan verification while buying the ticket rather than what happened, giving like two weeks to link an email, that would have been better.
