Everyone was talking about the line to get into the exhibit hall but anyone know if there was a line to get into artist alley as well?

Also how's artist alley in Kentia hall in general? The only thing I really heard is that apparently it's hotter and sweatier than satan's armpit because they forgot to turn on the air conditioning or something. But is it at least any more spacious than when it was at the back of the exhibit hall because that shit always felt way too cramped when things got busy.

Exhibit hall doesn't have as much merchandise as I would have thought. Got a bad ass brachydios stein mug and a one piece mug from koei.

I don't know what kind of craftsmenship we're talking here but honestly that's relatively sane pricing for some plushes. I know a couple of horsefucker plush artists that charged a ridiculous amount for their works but they made it work since their customers had lots of spare autism bux to spend.

One of them made really lousy looking chibi plushes that weren't very big out of fleece and charged $90 a pop. Another had really nice craftsmenship and charged fairly up until she started asking $500+ as the base price for characters she'd made numerous times before.

$40 doesn't seem that bad unless the plush is particularly small or poorly made/bad materials.

Here are some guidelines:
Watch people with cameras and see how they approach cosplayers.
Don't ask a someone who's eating for a photo.
Don't ask someone who's on the phone.
Don't smell of BO.
Always say thank you after taking a photo.
If you want to pose together with them, don't put your arms around them or hover hand, just keep your hands to yourself or do a pose of your own.
Look for people who have planted themselves somewhere while people pass by to take photos.
