I used transparent pvc as a base and sprayed it with black paint. I used a minimum amount of paint on the spot where my eyes are (between the small rectangles) so I can see at least something. Granted, everything looked pretty blurry but my vision was better than I first expected.

Question for all of you. I am considering cosplaying a human variant of alphys. What do you guys think would be best for shoes, since Alphys in game doesn't wear any?

My outfit was going to be her black polka dot dress w/ lab coat over it (seems standard among people who have done a costume of her). I'm working on my arms right now! If anyone remembers, I'm the anon that shared my idea of making Mettaton's arms with a shittily drawn picture. My idea was to have a layer of black on the bottom and silver strips sewn on the top. Here's what I have so far, I still need to turn it into an actual sleeve and attach it to the shirt.

For a more tough look, maybe go for a brighter blue paint and contour your cheekbones, temples, and jawline, sort of similar to "male" contouring in this pic. No problem! Keep in mind, It only works with stretchy fabric. If you use something else, it has more ugly wrinkles.
Put paper underneath the fabric when you sew too, it's really hard to work with.

Hey, Sans anon (me on the right) from a couple of threads ago. (I also found myself posted on the previous thread and didn't get torn a new one, which is cool). I asked about makeup advice and tried me best to follow it, so I tried to make Sans' smile more cartoony without drawing on a new mouth entirely like Pinkstylist. But my dumb ass forgot my black face paint so I had to paint my neck white, which rubbed off anyways because I didn't seal it well.
Anyhow, does anyone know how to get Sans' skeleton hands but still be able to use a phone? It was really annoying not being able to access my phone because of the gloves. And back to the black face paint on the neck, what do you use to seal it? If baby powder is white, wouldn't it tint the black paint a lighter color? The next time I wear Sans, I want to paint my neck black since the gloves and tights are black. Gotta balance out the color a little better, I think. Sorry for the long post; I've seen a lot of bad Sans on these boards and I really don't wanna fall down that hole.

For the gloves, I know there's a liquid you can apply to turn them into touch screen ones, blanking on the name though. Try googling though because I've seen it for sale.

For the gloves, I used conductivethread.ca. Seemed a bit shady at first but I got my thread after all and it works. You sew a dot on your gloves that is in direct contact with your skin. Boom, touchscreen glove.

Sealing: find a translucent powder. It'll look white and maybe slightly lighten your black, but it's fine. I got the cheapo one in my picture.

lots of people can't seem to sew them on either. Just buy some fleece or jersey material and make the dang sweater. It's like 2 1/2 yards of fabric and you'll still have some left over and you can make it using a shirt as a pattern. It's not hard and looks so much better with about the same amount of time invested.
