So maybe talk about walks you took with cool pictures. Polaroid show off's, book reccomendations. Maybe even herb gathering in a forest to brew tea at home. Those kinda things.

I think this would work! I would suggest pairing it with a looser cardigan/shawl in a lighter color and some tights or socks with a bit of detailing or lace. Maybe even a very light, shorter, asymmetric skirt underneath.
A vest like pic related might be cute, too (not my favorite example for mori, but it shows the idea).

How long have you all been mori girls?

I fell in love with mori girl from 2010-2012. From mori girl I became a classic lolita, but now I am drifting back to mori girl and really love natural kei (pink house.) I guess natural kei is my favorite of the three now, but I love all of them.

I love-love-love these. I'm not big on browns, and I prefer black, so I like seeing the focus of an outfit to include black. I wish there were more layers to their outfit, so I could see how they play with color. I want to see more dark palettes. That image is a brand feature for Marble Sud (マーブルシュッド) so maybe try checking mbok or y!japan for the brand name every once in a while. The dress is from like 2011, though, so your chances probably aren't that great. Good news is that the brand seems to produce a lot of pretty cute stuff, with a good deal of it being cat or other animal related. Most of it isn't really mori-able, but that's whatever
