Honestly, JV is kind of a retard, too. He painted himself into a corner with his edgy, teen-angsty shit. Not to say I don't enjoy JTHM or Squee or IZ, but I enjoy them in the same way I enjoy reading my own horror stories I wrote in middle school. It's good for a few genuine chuckles, but mostly good for cringing. So the rabid portion of his fanbase is, of course, going to be at least as cringeworthy as his writing.

Made pretty good money, though.

More on topic, I wish Rebecca didn't catch so much shit from her Tumblr fans. I remember seeing a post saying that the staff's response to Zamii's suicide attempt made her feel "unsafe." Because saying that bullying isn't the same thing as constructive criticism was very upsetting to her.
