I'm local so I'm planning to day trip on Saturday, should be interesting at least.

I went the first year, didn't buy a badge, said my hellos to several con-friends and then left after an hour or so.

Considering buying a badge this year just to see Quantum Destiny's panels and maybe enter the costume contest.

I have a bunch of friends going, even some co-workers. They're all excited about Asuna from Sword Art being there.

What is everyone wearing?

I know ANT posted about all the pretty photo locations so we should at least get some good photography out of this, I hope.

I usually only go to big cons like Akon and Afest around here, but I'll see how it goes. Not expecting much.

This will be the first time I have off to be able to make it to this one. The fact that it's only 10 minutes from my house makes it even better as well. No need for a hotel at all.

What's everyone bringing? What are you attending?

Anon 45 for a weekend pass is pretty cheap. Both A-kon and Afest charge over 50 at the door. In fact it's nearly 45 for an A-Kon pass right now.

I haven't been to Ikki the last few years but I recall it being much smaller than Afest.

I went to ANT the first year and it was microscopic. I'd say it's probably grown by now but I don't know how much.

They've got to be decently sized by now though since they're flying a cosplay guest from Canada, right?

Only because Ikki has been growing while Afest has been shrinking because of Labor Day weekends.

Afest 2014 had more people than Ikkicon has ever had. The mid August date + FLOW can be thanked for that.

Afest this year was still pretty big, guys.

Saw a TTGL group, was alright but the kamina could've been better, Yoko was cute though

I saw at least 2 Yokos and 1 time skip Nami. How were those girls running around like that considering how damn cold it was?
