I was wondering what the hype over this dress was until I saw the dress had a bat collar. Personally I'd like to have a blouse with a bat collar, which makes me ask if a brand has ever released a blouse like that? It'd be interesting if AP does decide to have a blouse with this release.

Pretty fucking good, in my experience. I stalked Chocolate Rosette pieces for a few months--really looking at the ones that weren't $400-$600 dollars, and lost pretty much every auction with Japonica and FromJapan because, obviously, ANY of those auctions get a ton of people bidding with crazy amounts of money + time/better services (or they themselves were willing to be there live as the auction ended).

So sometimes there would be a bidding war ending in ridiculous sums of money, sometimes someone fast would beat my SS bids by a few yen.

I thought "let me give ChibiTenshi a shot", not really believing I'd win, put in a fair bid, and she got it like it was no sweat. So as far as any bidding service goes, she's pretty up there, I'd say. She's not going to win them all and I'm sure at some point it's going to come down to "this SS's bidding robot" vs. "this other SS's bidding robot" but that's just kind of how things are.

It's not possible to scalp Puppet Circus. There is no one alive who bought that series just to wait until now to sell it for a huge price. I haven't noticed anyone saying that in the HL threads at all. on the contrary I've seen people saying it's not your dream dress if you're pissed there's a rerelease because you dislike that it's not ~rare anymore.

It's perfectly fine to be nervous about spending a shitload of money on a dress for fear of a rerelease because you could've just waited and bought it for retail instead. I guess you only pay in regards to how much you want it, but sometimes you just have to take a chance because sometimes there's really no telling as to what will be rereleased or not.

if you're lazy just charge them $12 or whatever the medium flat rate boxes are now and stick it in that
if you're not lazy, weigh it and then use usps shipping calculator, and look at priority and first class (only under 13 oz) shipping options.
I pick a random zip code on the opposite coast (I use 90210 because it's easy to remember) and just charge them whatever the calculator says it will be. then if the buyer is any closer you can pocket the extra $2-3

I match my perfumes with my outfits.

Flowery (anything jasmine/magnolia) or green tea (Elizabeth Arden) for classic
Evening or musky (Givenchy's Organza, Chanel) for gothic/dark
Fruity (Calvin Klein's Euphoria) or straight up candy (Sephora's caramel, chocolate etc.) for sweet

On one hand I don't know why perfumes aren't that prominent among girls who wear false lashes and petticoats on the regular (at least in my comm), but on the other... I'm sure glad about it when there's a meet in a cramped cafe with no windows...

Personally I think the hype for Horror Garden has died down, but I think you should always keep in mind cgl is not 100% right, even if you're no longer fighting with the overseas lolitas (most of them would have their Halloween outfits by now methinks), we have no idea what the Japanese and Chinese lolitas think of the print.

Took about three week to get to my door. I asked for Casual Lolita or Otome items in Pink, Cream and Brown OR Red, Navy, White and Black. I got 15 items plus a gift pair of meta socks. Everything fits me and my theme great. I feel like packs work best if you aren't super picky. I am so in love with the pink ETC skirt, but I feel like a lot of people wouldn't be. I have the Scherazarde jsk that is similar to this cut and it isn't really 'due tier flat'??? I can zip it no problem without maxing out the shirring in a regular padded bra and I'm a 34D. It's not the most forgiving cut they've come out with but I'm not super tiny either.

I didnt notice any damage. One of the skirts is NWT and so were two pairs of the socks. The red baby cardigan seems to be the most worn looking item but I didn't see any actual damage. I pretty sure they collect items for you rather than use shop stock.I got a lot of ECT and I dont think they normally stock them much. I have ordered other packs before I got the large pack and got 11 items I think, some of which were very small. I also got another xxl pack with around 11 items, I got a more expensive purse and a NWT parka in that pack so a lot of the items were smaller. >> No.8676993

>>8676975
No. Department store is being used here in a slightly different way than how it is typically used in the west. Even though it's being referred to as a department store it's because the brands themselves are the departments basically, but it is not like going to JC Penney and seeing some low cost lolita dress.

I'm trying to think of another way to describe it. You know how Macy's is a department store, but when you go to the makeup section, it's all high end makeup brands? But they all have their own counter and retain their own identity. Macy's doesn't have a Macy's brand cosmetics line to imitate MAC or Clinique. MAC or Clinique have their own counters within the store. This is *sort of* like what the article is referring too. There may be alternative fashion malls or boutique-like collection stores but the clothes all retain their identity. Big name Japanese department stores, like something with a clothing section and a home goods section, do not produce their own like crappy low cost lolita clothing. Lolita is very much an alternative clothing brand and it sticks to its respective brand shops or special shops dedicated towards it.

I don't know when it will be released but it's good to mention that only a specific color of the dress seems to require you to go to the actual event (which does not include only AatP shinjuku store but also Baby's), as it specifically says right below the dress "限定色/ボルドー×黒" , which means "limited color /bordeaux x black". It's important to mention that this blog post in general mentions an event that is being held from 19th to 25th september, and only at that interval of time you could make the reservation for that item.
