Comparing it to the actual outfit now, I do see that it's quite innacurate, but it's still decently made, she has a wig that would be fine with a little more styling, her prop is great, and the wings are party city tier but are better than a lot of shitty home made ones out there. She's still missing a lot of details and everything can be improved upon, but it doesn't make me cringe, it's just a subpar cosplay that needs a little help.

When I was 13 at my first convention (23 now), I got hit really hard with my period unexpectedly, and bled all over the hotel bench. I sat there for six hours until the crowds left, pissed off every friend I was with, then rode the train home with a bloody skirt from hell, crying the whole time. Mom was like "oh, did you bleed a bit? I hope nobody noticed" and I just pretended it had just happened while washing period out of my overly-shiny, terribly made 'costume' of satin and a shitty corset.

I'm sure one of the people I was with saw it, because I think I remember her commenting, but that social group dropped the fuck out of me. Can't really blame them, I was garbage. To this day, I want to beat the shit out of my younger self. I have no idea what the fuck I was thinking.

We once held a baby weeb meet up at my local mall and ADF traveled over an hour to join us and then got us thrown out bc they had to change out of their Sakura cosplay bc it was snowing and the mall security told me they were yelling at people in the bathroom. And ADF was escorted over to us in a prison jumpsuit they changed into. I had to wait over an hour --outside in the snow-- to get picked up and they asked for a ride home with me bc that bus stop was closer to home.
