Regarding possible meet ups, can people who have been to PAX tell us if this is a good idea? I helped host a meet-up for Sakura-con and it was pretty successful, but that was only because I was familiar enough with the con.

Sounds like we got some consensus, so I'll l try to see what I can do to set up a meeting.
I'll look over the schedule again to see what times and places look good, but I'll model it to be on all days so that everyone has a chance to meet up. That being said I can definitely flag down a spot on the days I'm attending, but that leaves Friday and Saturday hanging dry. If anyone can volunteer to help stay in one place and flag down seagulls that would be great.

The first time that comes up for my is in the afternoon, maybe 3pm. I'll look into it.
Location-wise I would meet up in the lobby first to catch anyone who doesn't have a ticket, then move up to a tabletop game room for some good ol' /tg/.

Don't really have much this year! Since I've got quite a few days off from work this week, I was thinking of pulling a last minute Clover from 999 together, but we'll see. Going to head to JoAnns and Pacific Fabrics to see if they even have shit to make it work. Other than that, Ellie from The Last Of Us since it's pretty comfortable. My friend wants me to do some hipster bullshit version of some character with her. Gotta admit-- she's lucky I love her.

I would also love a meet! I wouldn't say afternoon, however. Congestion in places like the fountain and usually landmarks in Freeway Park will be busy and people will be reluctant to leave the floor. I think after the floor closes would be best-- probably an hour or so after so people can change out of their cosplays if they want.

The only one I know of in the downtown area isn't convenient unless you're driving. There's one about a ten-fifteen minute drive away, but it'd be an annoying walk. I know some buses go there. Look up Cannabis City.

Emerald City in Belltown/Lower Queen Anne has some of the best prices in all of Seattle. Only shop I ever go to (but you should support local growers, not shops)

Good ol' Seattle, about 15 min drive, but I utilize the light rail. BTW! If you're coming in to the airport, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT! It's like $5 for all day unlimited trips, much cheaper then a cab! It goes from the airport all the way to downtown! Super easy to use!

Have a couple of meetings, but going to try and go to parties for the first time. Also hanging out with some Twitch people. This is my third year attending however. Bummed Konami and Blizzard aren't making an appearance, but it is what it is.

None, sadly. :( I tried cosplaying last year, and I didn't have the time or space to really make it decent, it was a lot of hard work and effort and it came out shitty, granted it was my first one but man... It really bummed me out. Mainly didn't have the money this year though. Will be hanging out in Lolita and my bird Kigurumi however, so if you see me feel free to say hi!

For breakfast before the convention go to CJ's Eatery in Belltown, right by the space needle. They have $5 early bird specials from 7-9. You can also check out Monster Dog. You'll see some of their carts around 1st avenue and Bell. There are also some great and cheap places in the Bing-Bong district.

I just went to a teriyaki joint called Orange King in the University district. $7 combo plates of Teriyaki chicken. Absolutely fucking delicious with very awesome staff.

U district is a motherload of cheap eats, and good stores. If you take any of the 70 bus lines(under convention center) it'll take you straight there. In that area is Pink Gorilla, and AL's pawn shop. 2 good stores for vidya.

Does anyone have a map or list of the vendors and exhibits for this year? I can't find it on the site. and last year someone posted a doc that had them in a thread here.
