Oooh I love this thread. In the past year or so there have been casual threads but what gets posted is just simpler Coords and not casual at all.

I want to see Coords I can run errands and walk my dog in, not a normal coord without a wig or with a sweater on.

I agree 100% with this statement. But I have a question... When you draw the line between casual lolita and a la mode? I don't think it's the petticoat... I've read somewhere, probably here on cgl, that girls in Japan wear full lolita and no petti.
Is it the use of cutsews? I really have a hard time categorizing it.

I love casual Lolita. I have a decently-sized collection of nice printed t-shirts with some icon Western cartoon characters. I've had one converted into a cutsew and I've got two skirts in colors that fit. I love it. I haven't posted any pics bc I'm too scared to call it anything but Lolita-inspired. However, it is cute & comfortable, and I get so many compliments.

I'd love to see more fandom-y casual coords.

I love this. I'm a hiking fanatic, and my legs are usually bruised up and cut to shreds. I think it is cute, and very girlish. As a kid I was always falling around and getting bruised and abraised, and I think that's a very childish and vivacious quality. Unblemished skin is more ladylike, but being cut and scraped up is girly and cute.
