My local theme park does a halloween event every year where you can stay at the park for over 12 hours for the same price as a normal day. There's tonnes of opportunities for photoshoots because the place has really nice grounds and I really wanted to host an event, but everybody is too shit scared to go since an accident that happened there recently.

Guess it's going to be another dull halloween meet.

I absolutely love the hat. I'm already starting to gather stuff to make my own. I made a witch hat for a coord a few years ago and now I want to make a much bigger one.

So I bought a generic witch hat that I want to kinda lolify. I'm planning on taking the weird buckle thing off and putting a nice ribbon with a bow around it and maybe put some roses on it what would be some other stuff I could do to not make it look so plain?

You could make a big bow with tulle and leave the tails long so they're like a veil. If you want to go OTT, get one of those fake crows or ravens and stick it on there. Add some big feathers, some roses, maybe a skull. Depends on how sweet or gothic you want to make it.

I made a witch hat for a coord last year. When I get on my home computer I'll upload a picture if I can dig it up.

My Comm was thinking of renting out a place and having a Five Nights at Freddys inspired meet up. Most of us like the idea.

I have always wanted a cute witch hat but could never find a decent generic one to modify. I want something that's quality enough to be worn regularly and mostly comfortably. Is there a good place to find something like this or will I have to make my own from scratch? If I have to make my own are there any decent tutorials? I can't speak for buying one, I decided to just make mine regardless. I can't remember if I looked at tutorials or not, but basically I make a circle with a hole cut it in (for my head), then made a conical shape, and then attached them. I used felt and then overlayed some sheer flocked fabric. To keep the brim stiff, I sandwiched it with cardboard in between.

I did a hasty paper mock before I did the actual hat though, this way I knew how big to cut the hole, etc. Also, if you do make one, make sure you're making it to fit your head with a wig on. Wigs dramatically alter my head size, so it was important to know what it really was vs. what it normally is without the wig.

I feel like the top half is too black heavy and the bottom too white heavy, but I don't like the look of black socks with white shoes. Crayola's Model Magic is nice and light, and also air dries. It can be a bit difficult to blend edges, so make it a tiny bit bigger so you can sand it down to size. It takes paint well, then you can seal it with varnish or PU.

I already have the materials to pull off the bottom two ideas and would only have to buy a couple items for the coords. With my Bloody Mary idea, though, that would require buying almost an entire coordinate, which I don't have the money for at the moment.

As tempting as it to be a cute witch lolita for Halloween, I feel like the idea has been done so many times that, like an earlier anon said, it has practically become its own subgenre.

I want to make a witch coord with my black milky cross op and I was wondering wear I could get a witch hat made with a similar fabric (organza-like). Most of the hats I've seen on the market are cotton or velvet :/

By just wearing something like the style of clothing she wears, pale makeup and a suitable wig. Anyone who know the character will recognize you. Absolutely don't do the all out vampy bold makeup, that would be completely inappropriate for the character and look.

I've never been allowed to dress uo ir participate in anythung Halloween-related but I'm travelling to the Netherlands at the end of October and planning to loli; I just got Vampire Requiem and have a coord planned for Dark Night Guardian, but of course I have to keep it simple to pack light and run around 6 museums. I think one defining thing about Claudia is how doll like and young she appears. Heavy makeup is definitely not the way to go. Her hair, especially the bangs are pretty defining too.

I don't know too much about print names or specific lolita dresses, as I am rather new, but could anybody list a decently-priced OP/jsk that would fit in an either red/black/white or lavender/black/white color scheme?

Just plain black/white would be great, I just want to make a witch coord, and am fine at making/finding accessories, I just need a good OP/JSK. Something simple like the OP would be nice.


Either that, or a nice red capelet for a Red Riding Hood coord. I have a JSK for that idea.
