I'm buying from the US and need something to get here by October. I was looking at the spreadsheet and saw that Taobao Trends looks very reliable. Has anyone used them recently enough to vouch for them?

I made the mistake when i ordered a skirt (it was cheap anyway, not a big deal) but it had a stain on it and they told me that I could request them to inspect them before it sends off. Because if the item is damaged and you receive it, it's going to be fucking hell for you to get a refund.

I was confused too, but when I went to pay to figure it all out, I was able to just use my credit card after being sent to an alipay page to fill in details and make a passcode. You should be fine as long as you have something accepted like a visa or mastercard. Happy shopping!

They're both different deposit/reservations as far as I can see. One if for the cuffed sleeved version of the dress, the other for the looser midsleeved version. You buy whichever one you want, and then when they come in, they'll post a second listing for the rest (185yuan) that you buy too. If you're using an agent, you will have to pay it all up front in most cases.

Contact the forwarding service while they're online via aliwangwang (the icon with the blue face thing). You can talk to them in english and they'll reply to you in chinese, so you can usually google translate your way through communicating (though I try to keep my english simple). I find it helps to download the taobao app and check your messages through there since the web version of aliwangwang automatically logs you out after a while, and sometimes it takes a while for the forwarding service to reply (if they don't reply after a while, pester them again).

Yes, contact them. There may be an issue wit the order. When this happened to me it was because my forwarder thought they hadn't received a skirt. They didn't tell me, I had to contact them, then contact the seller to find out the issue. Turns out the skirt was inside another bag I had bought and my forwarder didn't think to check there. They don't tell you if anything if wrong, you have to ask yourself.

A whil ago (and I hope I'm not too late) an anon asked me to review a Neverland Lolita JSK when I got it.
Well, I got the JSK last night and can now talk about it:

Pros:
>Fabric is very soft and light to touch and wear
>Lace isn't scratchy, but not terribly soft either

>The chain it brought can be removed and it doesn't feel flimsy at all

Cons:
>The sizing is a little off, the JSK is bigger than I thought it would be

It's an alright dress. This was my first time buying form them and they didn't completely scare me away.

Someone in the last thread asked me to post a review of these two blouses when I got them. I got 'Generate' and black both in size L. I'm well under the measurements for the L but since I'm 5'9 with board shoulders I rather it fit well there. It's pretty true to the measurements, slightly smaller. The dress form they're on is 32-26-34 for reference.
You cannot beat the prices for these blouses. They're just as good quality as the Infanta and Surface Spell ones I received. I paid around $16 each. I am definitely going to buy the the bolero and two other blouses (in multiple colors) from this shop on my next order. My only complaint is they are very sheer, but it's not a big deal.

I guess I'm just a little confused. Taobao shopping services are generally going to be based in or near china because you need a chinese address (possibly taiwanese and HK as well?) and specific kind of chinese/asian bank account to shop on taobao.
There's also literally a shopping services spreadsheet in the first post of this thread, you can just read through and find a name and ask people if X is trustworthy or not, but the services in the spreadsheet wouldn't be listed there if there weren't people who had a good experience with them.
Personally I used celestial-delinquent. She's singapore based with a warehouse or something in china, and is fluent in both english and chinese and is also a lolita herself so idk I find her handy when dealing with lolita stuff and custom sizing. I recommend that noobs go with her to get an understanding of how taobao orders work before using the other services (unless you're confident).

I was pleasantly surprised with this dress. I wasn't expecting very much from it, but it's really gorgeous. The dress is made from this thick poly crepe material. The lace they used is very soft and thick, but also slightly shiny. The nun bib part is made of this really nice, thick sateen material. The embroidery could be a little more crisp, but its still very good. I got it custom sized, and I must say it is pretty short, and the skirt can't accommodate a large petti. It's definitely a more casual silhouette. Also, for some reason the head hole was pretty small. It was a bit of a struggle to get in to, but it wasn't impossible. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Super duper happy with this one. Once again, because of the price I didn't have my hopes set too high but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The embroidery is very nice throughout the whole dress. The fabric is nice and light, but it does wrinkle a bit. Its also lined with soft cotton. The lace is really nice, but also a bit shiny like in the HMHM dress. The collar and belt are both detachable which is also really nice. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a bit long, and the cuffs are strangely large. These are both easy fixes though.

I think it's all just luck. I had a VW replica bag shipped to me and my SS put it RIGHT ON TOP along with a Louis Vuitton "free gift" there, too. Oh yeah, their quality is *really* nice for the price. I have the starry/cloudy sky print OP from them and I was surprised. I've been kinda off and on with this dress but at least I know I won't have any issues with the sleeves. I feel like some slenderman mutant sometimes when sleeves are too short.

The SweetDreamer headband is very nice. Its quiet sturdy and the ribbon is good quality.

I'm 5'4 and the tights just make it up to my waist. They could probably go maybe another inch or two, but that's about it.

The nun dress took a little more than a month to make, once again because of the custom sizing and whatnot. They said it would take around 30 days, so they weren't too bad with the delivery time.

Has anybody else had TBR just... seemingly arbitrarily decide they're not gonna order something?
I tried to order from a listing with 3 options, one of which was sold out. Obviously I chose an in stock option, but TBR said the item was out of stock. I double checked and all, they insisted everything was out of stock. It was just some keychains so no big deal, but I was curious, so when testing a different service recently I tried to order the same thing from the same listing (still one of the 3 options out of stock). They ordered it and I received it just fine.
So...... what gives??? Like I said it wasn't a big deal, but I'd be kind of annoyed if it was an item I REALLY wanted and they insisted it's out of stock when it clearly isn't. Do they do this a lot or was it just a fluke?
