LSCC is good because it's the first big London event so a lot of people treat it as the place to 'reveal' your costumes for the year. May MCM also has that for the anime crowd since LSCC is strictly no-anime. October MCM is the same but for the end of the year, there's not much that happens after so it's everyone doing their last-ditch attempts at getting attention. Right now is a bit of a deadzone because early year drama has died down and people aren't quite looking to October yet. I mean you got your KJs and Valentines who are drama magnets year-round but for most people now is quiet time.

Doki Doki in November is alright, lots to do there. I believe there is also an anime league event being held in April at the same event Doki Doki is held at.

There's also manga bazaar at Waterstones in the Trafford Centre but it's not really a con, more a gathering. Can get really crowded and sweaty so don't wear a bulky cosplay. I made that mistake. Good for a day out though, I usually spend the day in the shops, bugger off to get some food and then go to the con (it starts at like 7).

It screams 'I bought all this gear, look how professional I am'. He's very clearly one of these guys who spent a bunch of money on equipment without bothering to learn how any of it is used or WHY he is buying it. And now he's got a good looking girl stripped down to her smalls in front of him he's got no hope of concentrating and actually thinking about what he's doing so he's shooting what his instincts tell him - her tits slap bang in the middle of frame.

It's not a good look for her, it's not a good look for him, it's not a good look for the corset it's meant to be advertising. How many of you look at her breasts first, then her nose and forehead, then down to her crotch and THEN to her waist? If you're shooting a black object you don't highlight other things so brightly. Then there's the messy shadow between her bra and the corset and the obvious exposure adjustment from where he got the exposure wrong.

This guy could run a masterclass on what not to do. Seriously. You see everything he's done? You want to be a good photographer? Do the exact opposite of everything you see here.

Like I can't believe I'm saying this because I don't really like Tabby all that much, but she deserves better. That corset company deserves better, too.

It's not that I have anything against either of them. Every photographer starts somewhere. Every model starts somewhere. But this is such an obvious mismatch it is almost unbelievable.
