Cosplaying from this series was such hell because hoshino-sensei wouldn't settle on design details for months. Being first always meant being inaccurate a month later!

I might dust off my Dgrayman cosplay and renovate it sometime this year as a final salute to something that ate years of my life, but unfortunately my face is getting too old for teens to pick it back up regularly.

My first ever cosplay was Dgrayman, it was the first costume I had ever sewn. I think I was 14 and going into highschool, and I was Lenalee. My wig was in low pigtails because clip ons were still a bit rare back then and I had no idea how to style a wig. I also don't have any picures of myself because I was too shy to participate in the group photoshoot and I only dressed up because I loved the series. There's also no way I'd ever fit into that costume consdering I was prepubesent when I wore it lol

I think what sucked most for me was having to wear the second uniform pleather material during the summer!
I didn't wear a wig at the time (it was also my first cosplay, bought it online) but man I didn't plan ahead to stay hydrated or anything but I still remember having so much fun... That day was a lot of firsts for me heh

I too was shy to be in groups knowing I didn't look very nice, but I still had loads of fun! I'm hoping to get another Lavi cosplay done maybe when I get a good wip going I'll post a before/after pic!
