It probably depends on the sect and the imam. Muslims aren't a monolith - they're a spectrum, and they even have confusing as fuck branches the way Christianity does.

Just as Jesus negated some parts of the Old Testament, Muhammed did the same, but that doesn't mean in any of the three religions that homosexuality is negated. Again, it's imam/priest/rabbi dependent and probably is really dependent on how literally they take the readings of the holy books they consider.

Basically, while they're no means the same, I'm going to bet the conservative region of all three religions have a lot more in common than they're comfortable to admit.

As someone who is part of this group, I totally understand why people don't believe that I'm sick. When people see me out and about I look 100% fine, same for when I post stuff on facebook about my condition. But that's because I can only go to meets or spend time on the internet when I'm not sick. When I'm sick, I totally disappear. Oh god, I met elljay a few years back in Chicago and it was a terrible experience. She had to have all the attention to herself or she would cut in random conversations and make them about her. It was really rude and you could tell people were getting sick of her. At first people would call her the face of the comm in a lighthearted joking about how pretty she was kind of way but she started taking it way too seriously so people stopped. She would also talk about how edgy she was all the time and everytime you take a photo she magically shows up because you can't take a photo you could potentially be posting online without her. She acted like an annoying highschooler on crack and seeing her run around all the time and the fact that she has many photos of her knees showing that don't at all match the photos on her "look at my kneesssss!" post about her health makes me believe she's not as ill as she says. Plus she only uses the wheel chair half the time but she always takes photos sitting down in it, always. Thats wonderful and great, but I don't think she had even completed in getting any sort of credential on those fields. Never mind her not completing the studies, but can you name at least one tangible achievement or contribution to society with it? No, playing tour guide at a museum doesn't count.
