Only natural, Japanese don't see themselves as brown and probably the biggest foreign thing they like is fantasy medieval europe which, contrary to popular belief (for whatever reason), was not a metropolitan multicultural paradise

There are quite a few but you just have to look, that being said she can cosplay whoever she likes, regardless of her skin color.

It's probably because the red jacket outfit is the more recognizable one. There are only several outfits of hers that I can easily recognize as her, while if people cosplayed most of the others they would just look like normal clothes. That said, I would also love to see people do more of her outfits.

The LBDD tattoo would make it easy enough to recognize in most cases, and she shows it off in many of her more elaborate outfits. Aside from that black one and a couple others, most of the outfits that cover the tattoo are plain or tacky dresses and hardly worth cosplaying.

You're... kinda forgetting the fact that people aren't just white and black. Also coloured lenses are expensive? They're less than 30$ on Pinkyparadise. Unless I'm missing something about the ordering process that jacks the price up way higher (I can't use coloured contacts so I wouldn't know).

OP didn't say she was "black", just said brown and "not white", this can include a variety of people with a darker complexion, including hispanic/latino, native american, and people from north Africa and western Asia all the way down the southern half to Indonesia. There's also mulatto/mixed people.

My friend is Egyptian, and his dad has typical dark Arab features, with light green-gold eyes. Korra is typically said to be Native American, and there were Native Americans with light eyes.

As for "black" people with blue eyes, it is possible, but its typically because of a genetic mutation.

Main female characters with non-white skin aren't very common unfortunately, although there are quite a few supporting characters in various series.

She's quite young but Choi from Tamako Market is one of the cutest anime characters I've ever seen, I'd love to see a cosplay of her.

Okay so I have a conundrum for you seagulls. I have a beard, and its red. Im a redhead.
