I'm so excited because I've been after ever since I started out in the fashion, and I feel like just this alone opens up so many coord opportunities. Haha yeah, actually, you're pretty spot-on with that assumption. It's not cosplay, but a coordinate I put together from a sub-genre, himekaji, of Japanese fashion. It's a style inspired by hime-gyaru and toned down to make for everyday wear.

Posted in the suggestion thread a while back but would appreciate opinions on whether people think I could pull off Super Sonico in her nurse uniform. These are some similar bits and pieces I currently own just to get an idea of what the finished costume would look like. Just got back home and tested it out. Put some magnets in her arms and washers under my shirt. She stays up well enough. I put a thick wire in her to bend back so her head would stay up better but with the proportions the way they are she still tends to not keep her head up. I did style the wig. It's a Matilda in ashe blonde from Arda I added volume, extra curls and cut in the bangs. Although the wig is about 3 years old now it's seen better days. (I use it for my Ayla (Chrono Trigger) cosplay too.)

I did just recently drop all of my social media recently. I'm going through a bit of a rough patch, I probably shouldn't be posting this on cgl, but I did recently end my engagement to my fiance and I started a new job as well as moved out and into my own apt. Some personal things have been super high stress lately so limiting the social media to potentially cut out most of the drama that is involved with breaking off an engagement seemed like the best options. yeah i tried to fix the wig (i took one curl out and i couldn't get it back to the size i wanted). Once i learn how to curl bigger I'll def thin it down!

And yeah the skirt is way too big!! It's bundled up with an elastic in the back lol. The socks were glued on, maybe just not well in this photo, i had them taped on in the morning and glued on at night, this might've been a morning picture. Thanks for the advice tho !!!

I also did her school uniform. ...I hope its okay if I post that too. I did the graduation outfit since I already had the uniform from cosplaying Coward Mont Blanc Gumi. All I needed to do was shorten the skirt, make some stockings, a tie. I didn't make the monogram because I didn't have the time. I spray painted a sword I had too, so that I could carry that around.

I don't really have a full photo of it, but here is the outfit basically. I also painted some basic sunglasses in orange with black jagged stripes here and there to create a tiger pattern, so that I could use them during the times I would be outside during Anime Expo.

I don't think anyone is going to mind if you post again, that's what the thread's for after all. I think that most people do her standard uniform because it's more recognizable, but it's nice to see someone do the graduation one too. Good on you for wanting to try to make the patch/monogram, but was the time constraint too short to buy one? One of the more popular (I think) shops on etsy I bought a patch for a recent cosplay for was based on the West coast, so I'm sure places like that could get you stuff quick. It's just nit-picky stuff though, so nothing to worry about really.

As far as I can see, the uniform looks pretty much spot on and the tie is great. Just like in the other picture though, your pout brings it together and makes it look cute. The sunglasses was also a pretty smart idea of keeping the theme together and being functional. OVerall, you looked good anon, it's encouraging to see someone fit the character their playing so well.
