I like sweet lolita fashion,but I am so sick of the girls looking like toddlers. Is there any way to do sweet lolita without looking 12 and high on sweets?

Look up otona kawaii, pic related. It's literally "adult cute" and goes for more mature fashion with a cute theme to it.

The picture your posted was the most ageplay looking thing ever and I have no idea how you think there's anything mature about this. Lolita fashion is the worst place to find "mature" sweet anything. Sweet classic is usually better about it, but it's still very childish looking.

sweet classic or toned down coord's in the calmer colourways like ivory, brown and beige.

Um seriously though anon, a more mature take on sweet plus classic is pretty much her go-to style. She still wears large bow headdresses often but you can always look at her pics for inspo and replace large bows with say, hats and flower-based headdresses etc instead.

This looks nice. The higher heel and the print restricted to the skirt/socks and away from the face makes it seem more grown up. Many OP with short puffed sleeves are a bit shaped like a little girl's dress and JSK like a sundress so a skirt with the sweet print and a lovely pastel blouse just looks more mature.

I think women wearing sweet into their 30's (and beyond) can easily look nice in it still if the details and styling are just more refined and mature. I hope more will continue to wear it and not give it up.
