I think they'll have it restocked within the month since they sold out so quickly. They making major bank off of it. All new dresses will be worth just as much if not more. Soon Bodyline will release a $200 dress and noobs and itas will cause a sell out in a day

Whats the general consensus on L183?
I've always been sort of fond of it honestly. It reminds me of room wear. Do you think it is even usable in lolita? I can see it being worn as a casual dress but i feel like it may be too tacky even for that, its hard to find worn pictures of the damn thing and usually thats a warning sign in itself

So I actually have money to spend on some new blouses, and I wanna get at least two short sleeved blouses, one in black and one in white. I'll only consider blouses with detachable sleeves as long as they're decent quality, and I've found that the blouses with gigantic Peter Pan collars don't look good on me at all.

I already have L527 in black, pic related. So far, I've been looking at L301 (for white only), L383 (though I'm iffy about the collar), and L373 (black only). My main concern is fabric quality. What would you guys recommend?

In my experience that has been the only blouse I've liked enough to keep so unless you really, really want versatility maybe just get that in white as well. But if you're willing to spend a bit more it is summer sale season so you may be able to get a nice brand one for not that much more. Meta currently has pic related for 11,059 but they'll probably be having a further reduction on their sale pieces in a few weeks.

Not meaning to be a brandwhore, just in my experience Bodyline blouses are pretty shit and you are better off spending a little more elsewhere (or the same on toabao) to get nicer blouses.

The first time I bought off auctions I was kind of disappointed to realise that... you can still get stuff a lot cheaper, and shipping in particular is better if you're buying a lot of items and getting them shipped at once but it's not quite as cheap cheap cheap as it's made out to be.

Anon pls. Not the person you were replying to, but if you have family in Japan they are bound to at some point tell you about their culture. Japanese culture consists of being polite, orderly and in all aspects "perfect" on the outside. With close friends and family? All the bitching.

Aha, no. I lived there for 5 months and have studied the language and culture for 4 years in college. I have firsthand experiences and have been told by numerous close Japanese friends about the culture of saving-face and only presenting your best on the outside. This isn't to say it's completely like that, no. It may be a homogeneous culture, but they are not a monolith. Of course there are exceptions, and going by what your family says alone is not enough to gauge anything.

Are the bodyline ties that come with the uniforms actual ties or clip ons? (Specifically referring to costume417 in this instance)

On another note has anyone ordered costume418 before? Are those regular pleats? and it says dpik, is that the shown color or is it the actual pink such as in costume417?

At best, it's the Walmart level lolita shop.
Even Bodyline themselves list their store as a costume shop for their Facebook category. They have some cute, cheap items if you are careful but most of their print stuff has always been considered cheap and tacky. The fabric is sub-par, much of the lace is inferior, nothing is lined.
At the new prices, second hand brand is so much better quality.

Still not Burando.
I've got nothing against some cheap cute basics but I'm a realist too so I don't think their image will ever improve past that level. Lord have mercy, it's going to be hard enough on the eyes seeing all this clearance garbage trying to get stuffed into coordinates! I was curious so I checked and its selling out. Never mind that we have warned against the shit petticoats...sold...the crappy booties and the retina searing plaid skirts...sold and sold...the shiny, shitty ringlet wigs...sold...I just kept clicking and clicking in amazement.
Now I think some of their plain basics are fine, I'm not elitist but jfc, this shit on lolita clearance section is mostly bottom of the barrel junk. Even for Bodyline.
I think I need a nap, I'm dazed.

I can only be of so much help, since i'm a 65cm waist, but the measurements seem pretty accurate, they fit on me like a pair of baggy pj shorts (pic related, pardon the normalfag shirt, just threw it on as ref for you) and can stretch enough to pretty much fit another person in with me, though i can't personally vouch for the comfort level once stretched out that far

I disagree.
I have a few bodyline wigs and I constantly get asked if they're lockshop/arda/ect.

It really depends on how you style them but I've never had a problem with them being thin or shiny.

The biggest downside is that they aren't nearly as comfortable as other wig shops' wigs

The hair tends to be thick and coarser than other wigs I've owned, and the netting is itchy about half the time.

These are the wigs I own from BL:

W003 in nphblack
>this was my biggest dissapointment honestly. The ends of the hair flipped out instead of inwards but the wig was heat resistant so I just restyled it and it looks fine now. It was a bit shiny at first but it wore off with wear and now it looks lovely

W057 in red4
>this wig looks lovely but tangles easily. it is quite comfortable

W045 in lightbrown3
>this is my favorite wig! The wig cap is a bit scratchy but the wig is really thick and looks excellent with head dresses or bonnets

W146 in darkbrown7
>very very fluffy, much more than the stock pic. This is my newest wig so I can't say much for lasting quality but it's comfortable for now

I also have a rhapsody wig that looks like it's no longer listed on the website.
It's suuuuper soft and fluffy, although the wig cap is itchy sometimes

Story got updated.

>Just so everybody is aware of this situation, I have made 2 claims with PayPal both have been refused by Bodyline, instead they have offered me 20% discount on each dress. This is unacceptable as I have spent 39,999Y (£200)with Bodyline so an offer of 7,999Y is pathetic.
I have used Bodyline for a few years now and I have never had a problem with their service but for all my new (long awaited) dresses to arrive ruined is disgusting and upsetting. I will be taking this matter further.

Anyone else think she's being whiny? The only issue she's claiming is wrong is that the tiny print on the dress is backwards. Otherwise she's got three brand new dresses.

Just FYI I'm not being "whiny". At the end of the day I have made a purchase and I have not received the item I have paid for regardless of wether this is eBay, Angelic Pretty or Bodyline, I am entitled to a refund.
Whether you feel that the "tiny print" is barely noticeable or not, it is still unsatisfactory. I will always know it's backwards and it will always bug me.
I purchased 2 originally but ordered the wrong size and as Bodyline wouldn't reply to my email requesting a size change I had to order 2 more.
I have every right to question this purchase so whether you want to bitch and moan about my experience or not I wanted to share my situation over Facebook a) because I was hoping for a faster reply and b) so other buyers were aware.
