Yeah, I get kinda get that sometimes, although my mail is delivered to me. I sometimes wonder what the USPS/UPS/FedEx guys think delivering so much shit to my house.

Like, I'm currently expecting 7 packages. Two are huge and full of new computer parks, then a new lolita dress, a pair of shoes, a set of bows, a vintage sailor shirt and a new eyeliner. Whew. And most of them are coming tomorrow.

Don't worry about it, workers have seen much, much weirder than the average online shopper. I basically put in an order for USPS to come to my house and pick up outgoing packages 5 times a week.

Then there's the head of the vegan association of my town who lives across the street from me and I see trucks pull up every week, dropping off numerous packages of vegan everything. She's also some sort of New Religion fanatic (as in, installed and bought this specific satellite channel of her cult so that she can tune in to the Words of the Glorious & Blessed leader regularly) and has stuff for that delivered as well. Watching her mail piles is somewhat entertaining.

After someone mentioned them in the last thread I'm very tempted to. Looked up some Youtube reviews and most of them were positive... But I came across one very negative review saying that they don't wash well and end up very stiff afterwards. Someone in the comments section complained that it was just because she didn't wash them properly, but I have doubts...

I'd prefer a seagull's opinion on them as unlike most of the Youtube bloggers they haven't been sponsored!

I had my mail carriers who deliver to my house ask me about the name on my packages since it was a silly "I'm only doing this because Paypal required a business name" thing. My post office guy is kinda bogan so regrettably, easily frustrated. I am sure he gets a bit frustrated with having 5 or so small packets from Asian countries a week coming in, he started just piling them up and delivering 2-3 of them at one time.

Though I dont think it could get more embarrassing like the time I came in after selling a Little Britain doll (I think her name was Bubbles - I dunno, she's from the sketch with the two obese women, the one I had was the black one and all she had was a towel wrapped around her) and he had to ask what was in the bag to verify it before I could send it off!

Anon from the previous thread here, the rest of these should be arriving today in about 2,5hrs but I got the socks!

I wholeheartedly recommend them, they're just like the picture and SO soft and fluffy, it's unbelievable. They fit my EU36/7 feet quite well, not snug or anything. The only con would be the harsh plastic-and-China smell (even my dog started sneezing), but nothing a quick wash couldn't fix. Comes in many colours, here's the link:

I only got a business Paypal because at the time I sold on Storenvy (before it got shitty) and it required you at least have a business account. I haven't switched back because it's too much of a hassle to message Paypal to get someone to manually switch it back.

Now I just use it to ship labels for my FB sales. According to paypal the only differences between personal and business accounts is that personal has limited eBay tools and merchant services.

So if you sell on eBay, it's probably worth it to look into what extra services you can get with the business account.

OK, mine have arrived. Quick and dirty review after using them once:

I got the 10 piece Kabuki set in your picture. The large brushes are nice and dense, buffed my foundation out well and did a good job applying various powders (blush, bronzer, finishing). The domed kabuki brush sheds a bit, but I've only used it once so it might stop later. The others are all fine. High points for the flat top kabuki brush, it let me cake on foundation without looking cakey. My beauty blender just thins it out when I try to do that.

The smaller brushes (detail face brushes) are too soft for blending cream products or even thick liquids. I can use them with my Becca SSP liquid highlighter, but my concealer is thicker (about the consistency of a normal liquid foundation) and these brushes are just too soft to blend it. Use these for powders or very thin liquids only.

The necklace was dirty when I opened it, left a weird residue on my fingers. But I put in in a glass with some alkaseltzer and it was fine. The quality is also fine, doesn't look like it'll fall apart instantly, is pretty heavy. That butterfly hanging off the antlers wasn't there, but I hadn't even noticed it when I initially bought it, so no complaints. 9.5/10 for being dirty, but good quality. Also I absolutely love it and $1.29 is a great price

The sweater looks exactly like it's supposed to, smelled very "china", but it was gone after an hour. Only issue is the sweater is super thin, so you need to wear a cami with it. That's evident in the stock photos though, so I wasn't expecting anything else. 9/10 for thinness.

This one came exactly as described as well, except the collar was kinda wonky. BUT the top sheer part is SUPER SCRATCHY at the seams. I haven't worn it yet, until I figure out how to remedy this, because I don't want to spend and period of time with my shoulders itching wildly. Also, buy a large. I'm 5'2 and tiny, and a large fit me just a little oversized. 6/10 for being too scratchy to be initially wearable and wonky collar.

Okay, so here they are, sorry for the bad photo. They fit great and you can adjust them to your foot's width using the small elastic ribbon you see on the front. The colour and material are all as described, just like the socks.
However, and this has nothing to do with the product quality itself, make sure not to tighten the shoes too much. Yesterday the top of my foot got really swollen because of it, but now that I've loosened it up it's no problem.
Make sure to mind the size chart and measure your foot. Usually I wear 36-38 (depending on the brand) and here I had to order a 40, but the 40 was as big as they'd said in the chart. If you're between sizes, order the bigger one.
>>8436172
The Korean stuff has arrived as well. I'd say I'm quite pleased with it all, but the innisfree tint is a lot more pigmented than I thought. It smells delicious and has great lasting power though, and works marvellously for the cheeks as well. Make sure to exfoliate before applying!

Oh and sorry for the funny feet, one of them is flat. The slipper sits a bit strange on that one as a result.

The owl/fox (different listings describe it as both but it's an owl to me IMO) is very cute in person but it is cheap. The strap broke off when I put a normal amount of stuff inside and walked around with it. But it looks just like the picture, so if you can avoid loading it up or if you secure the strap better then it's really nice for the price. I managed to pay four dollars with shipping included for it.

The pink one I use a LOT. It's made nicely and the strap is sewn onto the purse. The gold button in front says "Milk" on it. It's great for everyday use, and it comes in a lot of different colors. Can hold a decent amount, and it has a top zipper, an inside zipper pocket, and the button closure to secure your stuff. 10/10 recommend. http://m.ebay.com/itm/221797510764?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE&skus=Colors:Purple&varId=520652061759

JoyBanks options go beyond L, so I got one of the larger sizes and it fit really well.

Measure yourself and check the measurements before you buy anything off ebay. If it's possible, get a size slightly larger. It's much easier to take things in rather than make them bigger. If the seller doesnt have specific measurements listed I would try messaging them first and seeing if they have the actual CM.

Like any other store a large in one brand is not the same as a large in another, so getting the actual measurements is best.

Finally won my case. This buyer has been a fucking nightmare. They violated so many policies and screwed themselves over as they tried to scam the fuck out of me for an item that was damaged through transit.

Here are a few things that they fucked up on:
>Extortion - Saying they won't give me bad feedback unless I don't give them money, but can keep the item. [That broke one of the highest policies]
>Opening a case on eBay and PayPal
>Telling me through messages that they have opening looked for other buyers of the item which agreeing previously to sending me the item back. [Don't offer an item you agreed to return to other people, but still expect your money to get back to you.]

All in all, this case was closed in my favor. Through eBay. The problem now is that PayPal has their own case and they never got my email about this buyer. Meaning the case there closed. They get their money back while I don't get an item back, but I got credited my money I earned from the sale into my account. I have my money, but Im pissed they also get their fucking money for being a scamming cunt.

At least I get the money they sent originally credited, so I basically still made off through the whole mess. eBay put a note on this seller though and will be watching their messages about any other purchases and strong-arming. I just wish I had given them bad feedback after they decided to fuck me over. Now I can't change it. At least they are being watched.

The current eBay seller fees per item sold are 10% of the total selling price including shipping.
This is invoiced monthly and is automatically deducted from your linked Paypal on set date.
On top of that, the current Paypal selling fees are 2.9% of the selling price + $0.30 per transaction, and this is automatically/immediately deducted from the buyer's payment so it seems less painful aha.
>>8457815
If your bf sold an item for $400 then it should have not been more than $55 lost in fees.
Yes, seeing that money taken away sucks, but would you have been able to sell the item without eBay, for that much, and as easily at least?
I'm not trying to defend feeBay, but that's what mindset I try to keep when I pay their invoices.

Aww, I'm sorry that happened to you dear. ):

I had a nightmare too earlier this year where a buyer requested that I not ship the gift card she bought and instead just send pix of the code, bc she just wanted to use it on an online order.
We communicated fine and everything was ok..
Not. Weeks later she opened a credit card chargeback case on PP, meaning that she claimed she never made the purchase.
I messaged her on eBay and she defensively told me she never opened the case... Okay, if you truly didn't, you can call PP and tell them so they will close the case & restore my funds.
I gave her the # to call but she didn't do it and stopped responding to my messages, how sus.
I uploaded detailed screenshots to the case of all the communication we had in which she clearly authorized the transaction and asked me not to ship the item. The evidence was clear, but...
> I lost the case.
According to PP policy, the buyer won because she didn't receive a physical item (even though she was the one who asked not to send it).
But after the explained my situation to customer service, they agreed that this person seemed to be being dishonest & gave me back my money.

I was still upset that the buyer got to keep the gift card funds plus the refund she cheated from me, so I sent her one more message asking her not to scam anyone ever again, and got pic related as a response. :^)
Some time later the buyer was no longer a registered member on eBay, good riddance!!

It was my fault for being too trusting, and from now on I always send physical items even if buyers happen to want the codes right away, so I'm protected as a seller.

Anyway, happy birthday anon, don't let one bad person get you down on your special day. <3

It sucks about all the fees but as >>8458515 said, would you have sold your items that easily for that much without eBay?

Personally I am more interested in messenger bags/satchels, especially the vintage looking ones but I don't want to spend upwards of fifty on one. There's also the fact that most I've come across are rather small and would need to fit a few A4 notepads along with water etc. The Jump From Paper knock-offs aren't bad, but they're so narrow that you'll only be able to fit at most two notepads in, along with a bottle of water OR an umbrella.

Thinking of something like the brown extra large: www.ebay.com/itm/LARGE-EXTRA-LARGE-VINTAGE-RETRO-STYLE-LEATHER-SATCHEL-SHOULDER-BAG-STRAP-/161178851057

The shoes came in.
They came in really fast which I wasn't expecting. They come pretty much exactly as pictured and they fit me well which is nice since I have trouble finding size 5 shoes. Comfort and quality is alright, they're overall pretty thin and there's not much support but I expected that. There is a little "toe cleavage" which I know some people don't care for. I usually don't like it either but its only a little on these so I don't mind. The ankle strap actually fits nicely, I was worried it would be too large and I'd have to make an extra puncture on the strap. Overall good for the price.

I swear if I have to look at one more open drapey mumu cardigan I am going to commit sudoku.
Was a skinny goth now fat but still want to look cute in black/lac/chiffon whatevers.
Thank you guys.

Nah, Just a fatty who wants to still dress in clothes that aren't open cardigans in the grandma section. I am working to lose weight and get over an ed. In the meantime looking cute can help me gain confidence to go outside and lose flabs.

Does it have to be from the same store?... Sounds neat tho anon, it's weird nobody has replied.

Has anyone ordered these wigs before? Most interested in the red.

Yeah I'm surprised too...last time a $5/$25 code was posted everyone was all over it. Anyway, it doesn't seem to have to be from the same store, just all in the "Fashion" category. The free shipping may only apply to certain items though.

Sauce on that cat?

>> No.8498555

Although thanks is def due to the anon that posted it, there might be less replies because that 5/25 code was sorta hidden but this time this 10/50 code is on the front page so more people may have known about it.
Doesn't need to be all from the same store or even from any official store at all; just needs to be of the following categories: clothing & accessories, health & beauty, and also I think jewelry.

Probably because you have to drop $50 this time. That's a bit out of our usual cheap from China selves.

I've been looking for cute backpacks for college and found this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ladies-Girls-Canvas-Rucksack-Backpack-Travel-School-College-Gym-Shoulder-Bag-/331604920186?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item4d3531877a
Have any of you bought this? It's pretty cheap but I want to make sure it is decent quality so it doesn't fall apart like most of my other bags have in the past...

Right? Same % of savings though. I have a lot of stuff on my watch list and my birthday is coming soon so I'm justifying it as a nice birthday haul for myself. Luckily it can be used in a lot of categories so you can make a big haul of various items.

I bought one of those from ali, the strap broke pretty fast so I had to sew it back but after that it was pretty average

What's the largest haul any of you gulls have made from eBay? Mine was probably one I made ages ago (no pic, sorry) that was almost entirely tights (30+ pairs) and tons of hair accessories from the same store

>> No.8500067

>>8499994
I haven't really made any hauls since I tend to buy one item per seller. But at one point I had 40 items being shipped to me, 50% of them were wigs.

Why so many tights? Were they cheapy ones and just decided to buy multiples?

Because I have a bit of an obsession with socks/legwear
And yeah they were 99¢-$3 each
Also I was a little high

I tried using this $10 off $50 coupon and it gave me an error about the redemption code being linked to another eBay account... the coupon also isn't being advertised on the front page for me, just one for $15 off $100, but I'm not willing to splurge that much

this coupon is apparently targeted somehow
It worked fine on my main account which is very active but when my boyfriend tried to use it his extremely inactive account, it said the same thing and he couldn't use the coupon ):
I guess it's only for certain accounts but they don't say who or why, sorry you couldn't use it anon but there will definitely be more in the future!
