Is the price actually 999yuan or is it a placeholder? It wouldn't be too crazy a price, but Taobao brands seem to use repeating 9s as placeholders a lot. Has it been released yet? I can't Chinese.

...also, is that blue really mint? Google translate says mint, but it shows up as light blue on my screen.

I wouldn't use it. I used to use Yoybuy, but two times they charged me for the same item twice and I had to complain to get it refunded. Luckily they were small orders, but it could have fucked me up if I had made a large $100+ order. I've heard of one person that was very overcharged and told her it would take until the next month to get refunded. I'm sticking with Taobaoring for now.

Unless you're talking about a forwarding service, in which case the only options I know about are the Taobao forwarding services and Yoybuy.

Also, some anons experienced scammy situations using Yoybuy, but the last time I used it (about a month ago) for their forwarding service, everything worked out fine.

Clobba is a reseller, not an SS. They buy certain items, then resell them at a mark-up, which may or may not include shipping. You will pay their price for the items.

A shopping service works a bit differently. You give them the URL and color/sizing info for the item you want, then you pay the original Taobao shop's price plus a service fee and shipping. An SS is usually cheaper, especially if you are ordering a lot of items at once.

Can somebody help me look for some love live costumes (pictured)? My friends and I want to do this and we're thinking of purchasing so they'd look similar (we live in different regions but go to similar cons), but I'm having trouble navigating taobao on mobile. There are a lot of listings on eBay for these dresses but they're all about $30 and I don't know if they'd look horrifying in person

Holy crap. My forwarder sent my package on the 30th and it's already in New York apparently. Every other time it's taken two weeks (I think it just sat in customs for a while). I'm using "Zhongshan, Guangdong Express" through taobao itself. It's the only forwarder available through the taobao website for the U.S. They ship via ems. Like I said my previous orders have taken two weeks so I'm extremely surprised. I don't think it's anything on the forwarder's part though, customs must be fast atm. Notat they're slow or anything, this forwarder gets your stuff sent out the day of (if you catch them during business hours) or the day after you pay for your shipping.

Now the staff is harassing me to change the feedback....

I don't know if they can block you or not but I've threatened negative feedback before and still been able to buy from the same shops again. They wouldn't respond to me for the days when I was tried to be nice, but as soon as I acted like a dick they responded right away. Chinese shopping seems rather... Aggressive.

I don't know if this tactic will come back to bite you in the ass or not so its up to you. Did you order directly through them or through a forwarder? If you did it through a forwarder then they'll only be able to refund you the item price. If you ordered directly through them then wtf are they doing making you pay shipping again for their fuck up. Did you order through taobao/alipay? Take it up with them. They can also help handle disputes between buyers and sellers.

If you still can't solve it through them then there is a refund process on taobao. I've only gotten to that point for the forwarding service with sellers who haven't shipped, but there might be options for cases like this.

You should check the taobao store list in the OP. I've browsed through a lot of theme and a good amount of them have some sort of marine related accessories since it's so popular. I would recommend To Alice and Mu-fish, though I can't guarantee that they will have a lot related.

I've found one version on Aliexpress for about $50 which is ridiculous, even if they are nicely made.

The ones I got were pretty nice and I paid about 22$ for all of the charms but it was on ebay.They came wrapped up and looked pretty authentic. I did have the Sealing Wand on my phone and some of the white came off already and I have the two full wands hanging up because I don't want anything to happen to them.

I brought 3 things yesterday, shipping to a friend. Under the 'inbound' tab of my Taobao account, the 3 items are there. Two of them have been dispatched, the other one hasn't yet. Now, when I click on the 'pending charges' tab, there are two items, pic related (Sorry that it's not EGL or cosplay, I'm not a cute girl).

Did my first ever taobao order with taobaotrends. Very disappointed.
They gave me the wrong size of this shirt. I picked XXL bc I wanted it to be baggy but now I just have a regular shirt that my boobs don't fit in properly. Not only that but the concept is ruined because even before I put it on, I could see through the fabric so anyone can see the under part of the cat, so it's not a surprise when you pull the pocket down.

They sent me the wrong color of shoes as well. I think maybe the ones I picked were sold out but they didn't mention this to me. And at the time of the order they weren't sold out.

What does the tag on the shirt say? Asian sizes are usually a LOT tinier than UK/US sizes. I ordered that in L and it hugs my body too much.
And it was through TaobaoTrends. The shirt had a tag that said L so I am pretty sure it was just my underestimation. They send me pictures without having to ask for it so I know what I get.

I just received my order from tb forwarding! I ordered 2 pairs of shoes, accessories, the cheap Luna bag knockoff, and a skirt. My package arrived at my house in USA after 7 days of EMS shipment from China, I paid about $46 shipping (shoes weigh too much). Also, I didn't realize that each listing for earrings was for a single earring and not the pair so I have to reorder the other ones. This would've been figured out if I used a SS, but at least I still have a yolanda jsk that still needs to ship after balance due listing gets put up.

Ive never had a problem with Taobaoring. The only thing I've had that was semi frustrating was sometimes they have delays in communication, but usually thats during busier times of the season.

I've literally never had them mess up a color or item for me, and I've made about 5 large-ish orders with them (usually around $200).

If an item isnt available or whatever, they tell you and ask if you want a different color or whatever. Super awesome.

I was super pleased with everything! Plushie and pillow are perfect, though the pillow is only one sided and so some of the picture is cut off.

All the clothing I got (minus the dress) is from one shop and I got size XL for everything (minus the City Girl shirt, which is a XXL) because I have a 96cm bust and a long torso so if I don't get bigger/baggier sizes it's either too tight to wear or is too short.

No Zuo No Die: Typical tshirt material, a little short for my torso but otherwise fit fine.

City Girl: Pretty darn comfortable and has two pockets but the pockets do make the shirt puff out a bit. It is a bit see through though.

'The Ring' dress: Got this for my cosplay and aside from being heavily wrinkled it's wonderful. Fits well (once I can actually get in it) and has loops for the waist tie. It has no zipper and no stretch though so if you have big shoulders like me, it's kinda difficult to get into without feeling like you're going to rip something.

No Wifey: Actually thought this said "Ain't No Wifey" since none of the stock photos showed the first word aside from " 'T " but I still love it. The shirt is made from really silky feeling stretchy material so it's great for summer heat. Also doesn't seem to be see-through.

Brooklyn Rules: Great quality (was surprised to get a colored lion since the stock photo is grey) but it's too short for my torso.

Blocky Stripes: It's see through (can see my belt at the bottom and bra strap at the top) but well made. Too short for my torso as well.

Cats: It's see through as well but does fit nicely so I don't mind layering a camisole or tanktop under it.

Paint Splatter: Fits great and is only a little see through.

I would like to order several pairs of shoes form this shop (and taobao in general), is the chinese sizing any different to european? They don't have a size chart. I'm a Narrow 39-40. so a couple of the seifuku ties I bought came with these button snaps at either end. they obviously don't connect to each other, and there's not anything on any of the blouses or sailor tops I bought for them to snap onto... did I just neglect to buy a strap extender or something for these to go on, or am I stupid and missing something obvious?

From your photo it looks like both parts of the snap are on there, as in one side has been sewn on to there and then the corresponding part snapped on so it doesn't get lost. Try separating them and sewing the other side of the snap to where you want those pieces to sit.
