Definitely do not consider her one of the spoiled lolitas. She said she works like 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for her brand. And in case you don't believe her because you've never worked like that or they're against your local labour laws, I can 100% confirmed I worked that much for 2 months, eventually got it down to 6 days a week. Worked over another month and eventually burned out. But that was before I found lolita and had no real motivation to keep the job...otherwise I might have done more negotiating and possibly stuck to working 6 days a week for brand.

And even if you don't work more than 4-5 days a week at one job, doesn't mean you don't work 2-3 days a week at a second job. Which I've done. And many people I know do.

She would have started her blog when she was 18, and finished at about 21-22. Housing in Sydney, Australia is RIDICULOUS. She's not from some rich north shore family either. I'd find it exceptional if she WAS living outside of home at that point, even with a full time job. I am a mod in a hobby comm and have a hobby blog, I only blog about my hobby there and it's fairly intensive. I appreciate your sentiments, but without getting too personal, what I was like before lolita took over my life is what you see now which could definitely seem like a jump aboard another trend ship. But what I am doing now makes me very comfortable and happy because I'm not lying to myself.

In honesty, if you haven't read the other thread in which I replied in, the main reason I enveloped myself in the fashion is that I was using it as a form of mental escape which obviously didn't work too well because you could definitely see straight through me trying to portray myself as somebody I really wasn't that I just desperately wanted to be - (don't worry, I'm cringing at myself too). But as I said in the other thread, the only way to learn is to make mistakes sometimes.

I definitely in no way regret exploring lolita fashion, and I still love it just as much but don't feel as comfortable wearing it. I love the friends I have made and the community I'm a part of. I explained in the other thread that the means behind my leaving wasn't just because of the negative things that happened (which I will add is a minority), but it was mainly a self realisation and inability to cope with the amount of attention aimed at me (which I will also add is also not that extravagant compared to many things, but enough to impact me during everyday life).

The only difference between "milkyfawn" and "milkai" is the changing of a username because I got bored of it, just like how all of my old emails and names are "zadenwolf" because I thought it was a cool name out of a book.

It's probably not a good idea outing myself on here, but whatever. I hope this clears up any questions you may have had on your mind, and I'll definitely take your comments on board as well. I guess this may seem a little vague as an explanation, but please bare with it because I do not wish to stir up any unnecessary assumptions or discussions.
