What saddens me about most League of Legends cosplayers is that they never attempt to make the actually cool, complicated versions of a character. Everything is Ahri this or Battle Bunny Riven that. Studio Ghibli, especially Miyazaki, is universally well-known (unlike most anime). That's 100% the reason why most "normal" people cosplay it. I need to touch on something as someone with big tits. When you love a character, but their outfit goes all the way up to their neck, this a lot of the time looks worse than if you make the neckline lower or if you boobs poke out. A lot of cosplayers who do basic bitch cosplays usually have larger breasts. Whether they re fake or not doesn't matter. Even in normal fashion, for girls with this problem, wearing something like full tshirts or turtlenecks make you look really unappealing, so I understand where they come from with altering an outfit. It isn't always for attention like Jnig or someone else I can't think of off the top of my head.

This is what I don't get about the hate sometimes. There are bad Yokos with Milanoo bought costumes, and there are good Yokos with non ratty wigs, good quality bikinis, and the gun. If there's effort put into it, I don't see an issue.

Tifa on the other hand is much easier to spot because there's metal plating on her shoes plus her elbow guard. Which is something a lot of girls don't do.

And the game itself isn't that fun anyway. Highly repetitive RNG and rewards for dailies; it gets boring real quick. The only reason it was so popular was because the company wasn't Jew -- they didn't charge you to play the game and they spent huge amounts of money on good voice actors.

To me the definition of basic bitch cosplay is collosal con cosplay. Every girl there didn't even do cannon bathing suits for their characters. They put on a bikini and a wig and go a shit ton of attention. Like I saw so many asuka cosplay and none of them were cannon just a red and white bikini. I think you just care more about accuracy than they do. Cosplay has huge groups of people who are like 'I can be as creative as I want~~~' or 'I'm just having fun~~' and that reads as lazy to those who are more into the details. They're into cosplay for fun and male attention and they kinda dig the idea of the character (not necessarily the design). I prefer accuracy over that but it doesn't super bother me because it has nothing to do with me. I just see it and say 'WTF OK you go get that attention you clearly want it more'.

Exactly but it is still basic as fuck. Also someone put bendo on here and her original designs take alot of fashion design and alot of effort. I'd Def not say that's basic. It is boring sometimes cause all she does is og designs but it does take alot of effort and creativity which is why I still follow her. I think to me it's more about the way someone goes about their costume is what makes it basic. Like if you just half ass anything your a basic bitch but if you put your heart into it and all the minor details are there I'd say even the easiest of costumes if done 100% are worthy of praise. A friend of mine does alot of easier costumes but she gets every detail down to a fucking science and God help me She rocks that shit.

I think that's why I got Slightly butt hurt over the shit teir stuff I saw at colossal this year. Because tbh alot of them did so many shitty bikini things they bought and didn't try at all. But the design looks nothing like Totodile NOR any of its evolutions? If you manage to miss the source material and leave out the most known features, that's shitty cosplay no matter the craftmanship. Specially when we're talking about gijinkas, you need to be creative with the costume while keeping aspects of the original design, make it well and make it so it can be RECOGNIZED.
Plus, that sorta swimsuit doesn't suit the pokemon at all.
