I was one of vendors and I have to say the communication between us and John was non existent. He used others to give us info about event and 50euro fee, but they were not notified if we had already bought full Friday and Saturday tickets. They only passed on the message to us. So its main organisor thing to check who has got tickets or not from vendors, as we didn't want to pay double. You always pay either as a guest or vendor which includes table and entry fee in it.

Btw the Saturday event was long and fucking boring. The raffle was done like 6 times during the event, with crap prizes like badges from Mid or, which were free in Friday goodie bags (wtf) or krad Lanrette catalogues

I ment badges from Midori. ..

How did the friday go? I saw a shit storm on their facebook page saying they were moving the event time back by two hours only a day before.

I have to say that the shopping was quite good though! Tokimeki was super great and the indie brands were also nice. I'm just super pissed about the Victorian maiden stuff getting left behind.

They did the raffle the same way at the tea in Houston last weekend. They gave away these tiny plastic pink bow rings with "Misako" stamped on them, some photo books, and one Meta dress. They had AP's Castle Mirage JSK in navy there but apparently it was just for decoration cause they did nothing with it.

Some of the downsides for me on Saturday:
The Q&A was fucking horrible. Nobody seemed to be interested, everyone was chatting with their acquaintance and you couldn't understand anything what the guests said.
Not enough seats for non VIP guests.
Not enough food for everyone.
The raffle was like 4 hours long with lots of boring breaks inbetween, also boring prices. (I thought some prices would include actual brand main pieces, or did I just miss that).
More of pointless random waiting.
No Atelier Boz clothing as they previously anounced.

Just to clarify this one:
Everyone got a goodie bag and apperently the models had to pack them them togehter. They were not informed about this.
On Saturday they had to be at the venue at 9am for they only reherasal they had. After donig so they were told that the goodie packs needed to be packed.
Around 11am they got dressed for the fashion show in the tiny backroom. Misako seemed to be there too, somewhere in the corner.
They were told the fashion show would start around 12pm when all of the guests were in. Keep in mind, the show was shuedueld for 2pm on the programm. Of course every model was ready just for Deniece to blurt in saying that they start in an hour because not everyone is in and they need shopping time. They could go out if they weren't already dressed. So had to wait an hour in that tiny room.
Misako coulnd't even go out for the welcoming speech when john showed all the guest, cause nobody should see her outfit before the fashion show.

I don't really know much about her, but I can give a short summary. She has three kids with John and is the Chairman of Anime Matsuri. She also had her own event/panel? called the Deneice Leigh Show at Anime Matsuri, and also has modeled lolita in their fashion shows, tea parties, and advertisements as well. She also helped John run Planet Zero, their failing business that they owed $85,000 for rent and fees, and was proven to rig their gaming competitions in order to gain money. I can't say for sure if she knows about John sexually harassing girls, but at this point it seems safe to say she at least knows about the dealings of the rigged events, at least at Planet Zero. I think she is a part of this scheme and loves to thrive on spending time with special guests and such. You can check out her instagram trinityreloads to see all the boasting she does.

On the surface, sure, there's no problem joking like this if it's between two friends and both are comfortable with sexual jokes. However, you fail to take into consideration a very important factor--these two are women who are working with/under him. Do you not understand why sexual harassment policies are in place in an office? It's there to protect employees and to protect anyone from legal ramifications for making such statements. Point is, the basis of their relationship is business. You absolutely do not, under any circumstance, say things like this. If John was a good businessman he would have known that despite whatever intentions he had of being friends with these women, the line still needed to be drawn, to save his own butt at the very least. Furthermore, as others have mentioned, there are legit reasons why women do not address harassment. Have you failed to notice that women have pretty much never really had a voice in these matters?
