miss point and dearli come to mind, though not all their stuff nowadays leans towards retro/vintage as much. and after a lot of trial and error, I'm not sure if there's one general term for that style - lots of mixing up of words like "european," "classical," "vintage/retro," "antique," etc. victorian will get you lots of victoria's secret/victoria beckham shit, regency will turn up nothing, jane austen will turn up books.

these stores carry (sometimes expensive) stuff that goes along with the general "classical european" sort of style, not necessarily regency, but they're... romantic? you can always use the "find similar items" function, or use the image search function as well.

Ebay will probably have what you want, pleaser brand clear platforms are a major stripper staple so I don't doubt there'll be sellers on there. They'd be more than taobao shows but I've worn 6 inch pleaser platforms for 14hrs straight, a few of those hours dancing and had my feet survive just fine so it may be worth paying a bit extra any way if you plan on wearing them an entire con day.

I think only certain sellers accept amoy gold to be used for a small discount (it will tell you on the item page). Usually there's a checkbox when you're checking out to use xx amount of amoy gold, though it usually only amounts to a fraction of a yuan/a few yuan.

Big ol' order just arrived.. Everything is fine, except one of my Antaina TPs was crushed when they packed it into the box, and the leather is all stretched and warped.

It has a big bubble that sticks out/in when I put them on and the gold paint is all stretched and wrinkled where it was warped.

It's actually paper mache and seems pretty sturdy. I wouldn't try to bend it too much but it comes with an elastic string and a little tassel and decorative bell on the side. It's also handpainted and they have several designs available but be prepared to wait a few days for painting.

Also ordered pic related for $37 and was blown away when it arrived. It's very heavy material, super sturdy, and the train on the skirt part is massive! It comes in five pieces and the only downside is that you need an instruction guide to figure out how to put it all on.

It's not the standard under robe/over robe/tie set up. It's a red under shirt, then a white overshirt, then you pull up the long skirt over that, and then you velcro a sash over it and then tie the fabric over that.

I just tossed it all on for quick pictures so ignore all the wrinkles and everything.

iirc you can leave them a note when you combine the items into a parcel, but it won't matter that much whether they do it or not. Chinese customs opens absolutely everything, once they repacked everything in a package of mine so that the smaller items were inside the large bag (I could tell because the parcel was far, far bigger than the bag inside, and the wrapper of the bag had been removed). It's more up to whether your country's customs like to remove brand clothes or not (which they probably won't if the brands are japanese).

As mentioned earlier, it's probably your best to have them cut the tags off. Send them a ticket about it.

Is there a service particularly good with cosplay preorders that require a deposit and second payment? I don't want to get stuck with one that can't explain to me well in English what's going on. Unfortunately I would not know nor do a review on because it is even though the same fabric it's sizing is completely off and also I think it's a replica (which I'm not against by any means, just put that into thought when you buy it) from the dress I got from the brand itself.

The dress you posted wouldn't even fit me. and the length would be too short for me (5'8") so if you are wanting to buy it I'd recommend making/buying an underskirt.

How ever I can give a general overview from my dress, the sizing is accurate, though I find the bodice part a little too short so it at the bottom hump of my bust (with compression and separation). It is super cute for a casual thing.

Fabric review, look over from my previous post with pic. I tried it on for sizing and it was so thick I was sweating so I had to immediately take it off and wait it out until the cooler times of the year.
