If you "need" it so bad just pay the $5 to get it, stop being so stingy.

If you don't want to pay for it then you don't need it.

What a self important asswipe. You think you're so special you should get something for free when a cosplayer worked their ass off creating it and is only asking FIVE DOLLARS for it? Go to hell.

It's five dollars, if you don't have enough money to pay that, you don't have enough money to be cosplaying.

>what is google
>found plenty of free guides online on how to work with LEDs
>5 dollars is a bag of doritos and bottle of Mountain Dew

Besides, the materials to really nicely do LEDs are expensive, you're too fucking poor to do cosplay with LEDs if you can't even part with 5 dollars.

1/10, you got me to respond, stupid.

This so much. If you are going to do stuff with electronics. You better get ready to invest at least some money. And from what i know good leds are not cheap especially if you burn them out.

if you don't have the money to buy something so cheap you definitely don't have enough money to cosplay and look good.

this. Everything she put in that book is a load of shit. Just go to Adafruit and look up what's in their forums. That's where she got all the info for her book anyway.

Is it possible to get a translation on this? This would be very useful for something I'm working on but I don't really understand what's going on in the tutorial.

is there any good tutorial on how to do decent fake freckles?

>> No.8403594

I saw a tutorial on tumblr a while ago that had tens of thousands of notes that was explaining this iron on that was vinyl looking. Does anyone have it?

>> No.8403599

1) Look at photos of people who actually have real freckles
2) Use a color close to your (or your character's) hair color (obviously not if your character has like, blue hair. just use a medium brown in that case IMO)
3) Freckles are darker and denser where the sun hits - the bridge of your nose, your cheekbones, your shoulders and chest if you're doing beyond your face - but they will look unnatural if that's the ONLY place you draw on freckles

What is with the recent interest in/popularity of freckles? I got made fun of for having them as a kid and now they're some sort of fashion accessory. Weird.

>stolen material

So writing a book, which is basically just a simplification of common knowledge, is stealing now? I bought the book out of curiosity (and because it is cheap as fuck anyway) and it's not bad. There's nothing special in it for people who already have common knowledge of working with basic circuits, but it's alright for noobs who have no idea where to start. Getting tired of people bitching about Kamui's books because she's tapped into a market for something people obviously want to buy. I don't blame her, if I thought I could write a book that would sell, i'd do it as well.

>> No.8407844

>>8404707
There are better LED books out there, though. For the same price and that were written after months of research not shit ripped from other tutorials and websites that Kamui slapped her name on, then spent a week dictating to her husband.

>here come the sob stories
mate I got made fun of for being a ginger with busy eyebrows too and now everyone has red hair and caveman brows (I have almost none, thanks, genetics). Just enjoy the fact that people like it.
