I do worry for next year though. The masquerade was very crowded and the music past a certain point wasn't ball music and people just started grouping up on the dance floor talking and standing around. They also had really weird standards as some were enforced and some others weren't. There also should have been food.

Big industry guests were put into small rooms meant for niche panels instead of the huge rooms. You know you fucked up when your guests are talking shit on you in their panels. The head of programming can act like they know what attendees want, but they're so out of touch that steampunk is still a part of the con. There was a tumblr anon that said they missed when A-Kon was a fan run con, and tumblr-chan responded that it is. It isn't. Your head rejected so many good panels and left nothing on the programming. Look at this year's guidebook schedule and compare it to last year's. Unless programming gets fired, there is no way I am coming back next year.
