There was a brief show produced in Canada. The show is based off the books but it's a lot different. Right now there is 15 books though!!
I read a lot of them through audiobooks because I work a lot. They're narrated by James Marsters who played Spike in Buffy. It's a wonderful modern fantasy series with a lot of smart assery that will make you laugh and cheer, but you will also cry like a baby once you get further into the series.
10/10 would recommend.

The series has a little bit of everything. If you like fantasy you'll adore it. I especially love how in depth he gets with the Fae lore.
